Bank1 sensor1
Hi: I'm a new member, recently I had a gasket changed on pass side of catilac converter(exhaust), I drove for 20 KM on the Hy way when service engine soon came on. code says its bank1 sensor1 ?! could it been when the mechanic changed the gasket broke the sensor or something else could be the problem? can i drive with it on since I am going to a 1400KM trip soon? my truck is F150 2003 K.R.

It usually means the upstream sensor on passenger side has a bad heater circuit and needs replacement. Your mil has lit and won't stay out until you replace the sensor probably. It may burn more gasoline until you replace it. Enough to pay for the sensor in a year. Truck won't pass inspection.

What was the exact code?
Bank 1 sensor 1 is the upstream sensor (before the cat) on the passenger side. Bank 1 is always the side with cylinder #1.
It is possible the mechanic damaged the sensor, sensor wire, or maybe forgot to plug it back in if he unplugged it for some reason.

Agree with Chris, with out the code, is it to lean because it sucking air or something other then the sensor being bad. Get the code number.

If you aren't familiar with electrical repairs, stick with Ford OEM replacement. Make sure you give parts guy your VIN. You can get ford OEM online also.
