- Click "Sign In" if necessary
- Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or //comca.st/3GMK7WB
- Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
- The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person", but don't do that.
Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there. As you are typing a drop-down list appears.
- Select "Xfinity Support" from the list. An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.
- Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
- Press Enter or tap the > icon to send it
So what do I do now, cancel my appointment? Any solution?

If you do not already have a coaxial cable line running into your home, the technician will install a new line and test it for you.

There is no additional fee for this new line regardless of whether you choose the free installation or the VIP installation for $30.16
