Our protagonist, Kiyotaka Ayanokōji has joined the renowned Advanced Nurturing High School, the pre-eminent school in the country which almost guarantees the chance to advance to one's desired university or workplace.

Just as they thought they could enjoy their summer vacation on a luxury cruise ship, a new test begins with all classes mixed together.

The contents of which involve playing a thinking game much like the werewolf game with the other antagonistic classes.

Classmates should at least stick together, and yet D-Class cannot be united.

Further, the wicked students of C-Class led by Kakeru Ryūen are making sinister moves……

During all of this, Ayanokōji sets his sights upon Kei Karuizawa, who commands the girls of D-Class――[1]

The name of the special exam that will be carried out is "Mixed Training Camp". Separating the first years based on gender into six groups. Furthermore, they will have to rendezvous with the second year and third year groups as well. Finally, the students from the three groups with the highest average points will be allocated bonus points while the leader of the group that comes in at last place will be expelled.

Everyone is terrified of the special exam where expulsion is on the table. And it's up to the students to decide how they will divide themselves up into groups. Emotional entanglements where mutual enemies will have to join hands causes a stormy situation!

Furthermore, the new Student Council president Nagumo and 'that' Kōenji will also be making their move――?![1]

   What happened in volume 8 of Classroom of the Elite?

   Yahiko swaps with Keisei, while Nagumo and Ishikura make casual conversation. The first-years survive the third round, but end up losing the fourth, giving them a third day of breakfast duty. Hashimoto swaps out and Nagumo calls on Kiyotaka to join the game. The fifth round ends with the first-years winning.

   How much volumes are there in Classroom of the Elite?

   As of October 2022, eight volumes and one short volumes have been released.

   Is Classroom of the Elite light novel is finished?

   There is no foreseeable ending for any of these works as of the time of writing.

   What volume does Classroom of the Elite stop at?

   The anime ends of at volume 3 but the English translations of the light novel are only available up to volume 2, while the original Japanese version is releasing volume 7 soon.
