Deleting a user account will delete all save data associated to the account. Save data cannot be restored once it is deleted.
If the user account is linked to a Nintendo Account, the Nintendo Account will not be deleted. However, software purchased with the account cannot be played until the Nintendo Account is re-linked to a new user account.
Select “System Settings” from the HOME Menu.
Scroll down to highlight “Users,” then select the appropriate user account to access the Profile Settings.
Scroll down to the bottom of the settings and select “Delete User.”
If a Parental Control PIN has been set for the system, you will be prompted to enter it to proceed.
Check the box next to “Delete,” then select “Next.”
If a Nintendo Account is linked, select “Confirm,” then “Unlink” to remove the Nintendo Account link.
Select “Delete this User.”
Once the account has been deleted, select “OK” to return to the system.
Note: If the user account is linked to a Nintendo Account, the Nintendo Account will not be deleted. However, software purchased with the account cannot be played until the Nintendo Account is re-linked to a new user account. Complete these steps

Nintendo Switch (Nintendo Switch)
What happens if I delete a user off a Switch, will it affect my other Switch with the same user?
I added my main user onto my friends Switch, but when I tried deleting I'm kinda scared because I don't know if deleting my user off my friends Switch will affect my main Switch, for example, my save files and my Nintendo Online subscription.
I'm kinda in a predicament, if anyone can help, thanks.

Not at all. All your doing is removing the profile/Nintendo account from that Switch. Your not deleting the actual account itself.
You will lose whatever game save data you have though that isn't backed up to the Cloud (only available for games that support that feature) but games you've bought on the eShop, Online Membership and anything else associated to your account will continue to be associated to your account and can be accessed on any Switch your account is signed in to.
Although what you will want to do is make your Switch your accounts primary console otherwise you will need to be online to access all your content and to take the easiest route you will need to use your friends Switch. Basically what your gonna do on your friends Switch is go into the eShop with your account and head to your accounts settings. Scroll to the bottom and your gonna deselect that Switch as your primary console. Then on your Switch just sign into the eShop with your Nintendo Account and follow the prompts or go into your account settings and set your current Switch as your primary console.
If you can't get access to your friends Switch to do this, never fear as there is another way. Just follow these instructions and you will be fine:
