Nikkia Joy on YouTube had talked about this brand of Mascara and since it's so freaking cheap I threw caution to the wind and decided to try it. I'm tired of looking like a sad raccoon while wearing Mascara in the jungle known as Florida. My other options are false lashes and ain't nobody got time for that! Plus it's a little embarrassing when you're sitting at dinner with a bunch of adults and one of your eye lashes decides to jump onto the table. Last option is looking like a zombie with no lashes.But I've worn this Mascara a few times now and it's amazing!! Just look at my before-zombie pic to my after-alive pic. My eyes are sensitive and this doesn't bother them. I have a teenie bit of flaking but I have HORRIBLE habits. I rub my eyes all the time. So if you are an actual grown up and leave your face alone I think you'll be good. It's actually difficult to remove which is a good thing in my book. I use some oil and that works great. Just don't expect water to remove this stuff. I mean it's actually waterPROOF.Yes I recommend this.

I had heard all the social media hype about Essence mascara and at such a cheap price I ordered immediately. It came in 2 days, packaged well, and I couldn't wait to try it out. To my disappointment, the mascara was completely dried up. It was sealed well in shrink wrap but it was still completely useless. So I informed Amazon about the problem and they offered to send me another mascara IF I returned the dried up product. I don't mind doing that. I'm not trying to get something for nothing but for $5 I think they could have comped me the new tube since the nearest place to return items to Amazon is 7 miles from my home. Gas costs more than the product. The new mascara arrived quickly and I absolutely love this mascara! It's everything everyone said it is. I like many Essence makeup products and this mascara truly looks like false eyelashes. My lashes transformed in just one coat although it's totally buildable without clumping! I wore it through a wedding, a serious accident concerning a loved one during the wedding, and spent 8 hours at the hospital all in one day and when I finally got home I couldn't believe my eyelashes looked as good as when I left the house for that eventful day! No smudges, flakes, or raccoon eyes at 1 am after a day of laughing, crying, and rubbing my tired eyes! So ladies, I highly recommend this product. I'm a believer now and I'll always have a tube in my kit from now on. Beats much pricier mascara hands down. No irritation and I have sensitive eyes.

Okay, so this stuff was okay for a while. I walk everywhere and during the summer I was having trouble finding a product that wouldn't make me look like a raccoon as soon as I got into the heat. At first, this did work for that. It's not the prettiest looking mascara, I found it a little thick and clumpy when applying. And it looked thick and clumpy. But hey, it's five dollars. You just have to replace it a lot because it started flaking and making my eyes a mess after it was over a month old. I'm one of those gals that keeps a good mascara until I have none left. This one couldn't do that.

I have crazy allergies and I am SUPER sensitive to wind and sunlight (My eyes water non-stop in certain situations). This Mascara is THE BOMB! It keeps your lash curl and stays on. I really love this product. If you are a 2 layer person, don't let it dry before you comb or add the next layer because it does dry quickly. The wand is great and gets even the tiny lashes. I use a face wipe (Yesto Cucumbers Facial Wipes) to remove at night, then wash with my (Clearly Natural) glycerin soap. I hope this review helps with your purchase.

I love this mascara ! It's easy to apply, even just one coat looks good..And the cost is reasonable. The only problem i have had, some tubes of the mascara have arrived to me dried out and unuable, which i can't use ,and have to throw away. very disappointing and a waste of my money.Great mascara if you can receive one that actually seems new.not old.

I've learned if you don't let it completely dry before using a setting spray, you will get raccoon eyes. I'm not sure why. When I let it dry completely (ie-did my hair) before setting it, I had no smudging even with lots of sweating. It did not hold up by itself to salt water swimming; but with setting spray, it did. I'm not sure how it does with chlorinated water though.

I have very very fine thin eyelashes, and have had a hard time finding the perfect mascara for me, BUT I finally found it, this one! It's easy to use, and it is waterproof like it says as my eyes water all the time and it has stayed on all day!! No Smudging! I will be ordering this mascara from now on!! I love it for the price!!

I like it. It does smudge a little. I bought the waterproof and I used makeup remover to wash it off. It pretty much does what it says and for a very low price

I was sceptical at first about buying makeup on here verses in store. This is just as good as buying it in-store. The consistency isn't sticky and doesn't look old like it was in the warehouse for months. So BIG plus! I'll definitely order again!
