It was a known network issue with tmobile network which impacted metro customers as well. Should be fixed by now. If not, call customer service and ask them to do a network refresh

Maybe your line isn't active

It is active it turns out the person I was texting couldn't pay their bill, so their service got turned off.

Their phone is off. They can get a 72-hour extension period, to which only talk and text are afforded to the subscriber until they are able to pay their bill.

Mine does this too, however the one person above said that they didn't pay their bill but I pay the bill and it's paid up and still receive the message.

I love how even 2 years later an issue that was meant to be fixed is still not fixed. I get this shit every single day randomly. Send a message get back that it is blocked, in Spanish for some reason to boot, send it again and it goes through.

Ive noticed on my last 5 or 6 metro phones including my brand new one that every time there is service interruption I get message saying blocking is active. I was pretty upset a few times, until it resolved the issue but I'm pretty sure this has damaged some friendships
