The reason you need to use fn is because if you use an f command like normal, it is already keybinded and doesn't do the action in minecraft. The fn key applies to the application you are currently on, and overrides any keybinds. Upvote 0 Downvote How do you F5 in Minecraft on a Mac?If you go to System Preferences, keyboard and Mouse then there's a check box you tick to take off the tagged function. Once that's done, then you just hit F5 in the game and you'll be in 3rd person mode behind and above your character's head.
What is F5 command on Mac?Command + F5 starts the VoiceOver program. VoiceOver uses the Control and Option keys before each command. The combination is referred to as VO in the tables.
How do you use function keys in Minecraft Mac?To make F-keys work in macOS, go to the Apple menu → System Preferences → Keyboard and mouse and check the "Use F1 , F2 etc. as normal keys." If the player choose the first option, they can then use the Fn key to switch F-keys back to actions they used to do (e.g. play/pause music, etc.).
Where is F5 on Macbook Pro?Press and hold the Fn (Function) key on your keyboard to see F1 through F12 in the Touch Bar. You can also make the function keys appear automatically when you use specific apps: Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, then click Keyboard.
