Just in case anyone was asking idk if you were but to go into third person mode in minecraft with the Mac You
HOLD Down FN and then press F5 mode. Maybe this info was usefull to u or maybe it wasn't idk just if it was ur welcome!

But... It's called "F5" mode because you hit F5...

That's for windows for Mac u hold down fn while pressing f5

I have to hit Fn on Windows, too. I just thought that this was common knowledge.

For mac use fn and F3. It took me awhile to figure that out.

Oh for Mac book pro I just used Fn and f5 I guess it can work either way.

The reason you need to use fn is because if you use an f command like normal, it is already keybinded and doesn't do the action in minecraft. The fn key applies to the application you are currently on, and overrides any keybinds.
Also, battleon1215 , you need to use fn only on newer Windows models. Just f5 works with older versions.
