Firstly I'd like to thank everyone for leaving a review here, it really helped OMG. I notices cauliflower like thingies on my vagina, immediately got super worried. Went to the doctor he told me they are warts, I had no idea what that was . He told me it is sexually transmitted. Went for an HIV test it came back negative, thank God. I was frustrated with the warts as they kept spreading despite using the cream from the doc. I started searching all over the internet until I came across this site and OMG within 3 days of using ACV my warts were completely cleared. Try it really works.

How long does it take apple cider vinegar to remove genital warts?

Had a stubborn case for years. I thought I was going to live the nightmare forever, even seen the MD, used the cream, got lazered, but it came back. Consumed with sadness I finally turned to the internet & stumbled into the ACV home remedy. Decided to try.. picked up the Heinz brand, "super cheap". just went at it with some balled up toilet paper and straight out the bottle ACV and applied nightly..... Month went by and virtual all gone, but not out the woodwork yet... Clear 2 months now, still rub a little down there to see if there's any burning, but for those who haven't tried imagine "oxy pads" for the pain scale, normally dissipates in a minute or two, but it works, it's discreet, and it's cheap

How long does it take apple cider vinegar to remove genital warts?

I was diagnosed with HPV in my early 20's. Had a couple of small warts, MD froze them off. They came back a while later. I have had success with ACV treatment, however, it's been 20+ years since first diagnosed.. now I have a couple of older stubborn warts that I'm having little to no luck with removing them with ACV. I recently purchased some Thuja oil and they've shrunk a bit, and that's after 3 months of using it 3x a day.

My new partner has GW too. But he doesn't know he has it.. he's a Red head and has other skin issues and bumps and I'm guessing he's thinking they're normal.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Emily,

I'm not clear on whether you are talking about genital herpes or genital warts. Both can be transmitted via sex. They can also look similar.

Lysine is helpful for genital herpes. Here is a link to useful dosing information :

How long does it take apple cider vinegar to remove genital warts?

Cryotherapy didn't work, so I was willing to give this a try. After treating the genital warts in and around my anus with ACV, my warts have definitely shrunk, and some have gone away. I had A LOT of warts, including two pretty big ones and a whole cauliflower-like cluster. It was disgusting. Now, after two weeks, I just have some spots left, but on a scale from 1 to 10, I went from a 9 to a 3. So that's something, although I was hoping for better results, after reading about people curing their warts in three days.

Maybe my results aren't as good, because I didn't want to soak my asshole in acid for longer periods of time. The skin of my anus is really sensitive and I've had some eczema there in the past. So I put some vaseline on the healthy skin around my anus, and applied a 50% ACV / 50% water mix with cotton tips. I used a mirror, dipped the cotton tips in the mixture, applied it on the warts, and repeated this for a minute or 5. After, I would 'let it burn' for about 20 minutes, then I'd apply some jojoba oil with a drop of tea tree oil, and some zinc ointment (this helps the skin to heal, and studies show that using topical zinc in combination with other methods can speed things along, so I gave it a try). Whenever I was short on time, I would just apply the oil and ointment straight after.

I also drink some dilluted ACV (don't forget to rinse your mouth thorougly, as this will damage your teeth), and got myself a shiitake-supplement (AHCC), and a zinc supplement. Primarily because I will definitely not be putting ACV up my vagina (I have warts on my cervix too, but none on my labia), and I want to heal this from the inside out.

Here are my takeouts:

  • ACV affects your healthy skin too. I read some reviews where people would mention AVC only hurts the warts. That's nonesense, it's highly acidic and it WILL burn your healthy skin. Definitely try to protect your healthy skin with an oil or vaseline barrier, if possible.
  • Dillute it! I used a 50/50 mix.
  • My warts never turned black. They did become white and slightly bigger right after exposing them to ACV.
  • Because it was almost impossible to protect my healthy skin (because the warts were everywhere), the skin cracked a little and there was a little blood on the Q-tip on the third day.
  • Take rest days. General acid treatments advice you to use it for 3 days and then take 4 days off. I think that helps with ACV too. It gives your skin some time too heal. I used ACV for 3 days, took 2 days off, and so on.
  • Get some aloë vera gel to apply in between treatments when things get really painful.

Some backstory:

I was a little hesitant to try ACV. I was diagnosed with HPV after a pap smear. Had some wart-like textures on my cervix, but nothing external. A month or two later, I noticed two small bumps near my anus. Told my GP and she said 'Just leave them, when the HPV clears, they'll fall off'. Big mistake, because a few weeks later, my anus was covered in warts. She tried freezing half of them off, but that literally had 0 effect. She told me to wait a week for things to heal, but I never even felt like there was something that needed healing.

I really hope my current battle plan works out. I'll update in a couple of weeks!

How long does it take apple cider vinegar to remove genital warts?

Long time sufferer here. Was infected twice. First time, one wart, gyno put acid on it, then finally removed it in a 2nd visit. Lab couldn't identify it because of the acid.

Then I was reinfected in early 2000's by a boyfriend who didnt tell me his history. This has never cleared my system. Back then a gyno said she would not help me, straight out was a such a d*** to me, nasty in my face, like she count be bothered, like I disgusted her with my little wart. And I had insurance too. Planned Parenthood stepped up and did acid treatments and were totally cool to me. It removed those warts, and I felt better, but I wasn't cleared if the virus, so I did ACV for years after that for subsequent flare ups.

Then I had a big relapse and PP told me they would not treat me for HPV, so I've been using ACV on and off for a long time.

People say on other forums/comments to go to a doctor and not to use ACV, they are wrong. Go to Dr to get tested if you are female (I am low risk), but then self treat with ACV, and be more diligent than me.

Now I am on a mission now to keep up with the removal of all warts, and to clear HPV from my system, so when I get my next pap my gyno will not say I have HPV.

For a while there has been a big wart on my minor labia, and I have treated it with ACV half heartedly, and mostly ignored it. But last week I said no more, and now it has been just over 1 week since I put on my big girl pants and vowed to clear this once and for all.

Now my warts are all white (meaning dead) with diligent use of ACV, external full strength (not daily), .5% salicylic acid (will get 2%), and today I did a ACV douche diluted with half water.

Soon I hope to work up to full strength ACV douching, in not sure, I need to research more on that.

Once my present white external warts are home I will do a weekly Wednesday overnight AVC check up. BTW, it is best to apply after a shower. I use cotton balls to coat my labia with ACV, then cut 2 cotton rounds in half, douse them with ACV, apply to labia, then go to sleep.

Soon I will try a pinch of baking soda mixed with a few drops of castor oil to make paste. Alternatively I will also be using Retin A since a study said it helped meat hopeless cases like me, and since I have the stuff I might as well use it.

My diet is good. No soda, red meat, food dyes, junk food.

Fingers crossed that I clear this HPV virus for good. This would not be possible without ACV with the mother (I use Bragg's). It is a life saver!

It works. It took me 2 days for the warts to be removed but be careful not to put it on overnight or long because I've burnt my penis skin and there's a large pinkish/reddish area over where the 3 warts I burnt off, it's been 5 days and it hasn't really strunk in size at all, it's very noticeable and it's looks way worse than the 3 small warts I had in the first place, I've been applying vitamin E oil and coconut oil to speed up the processing time with a band aid, I just hope and pray this is not a permanent scar, I wish people would've had said this before I tried. I would've just waited for the doctor to freeze them off.

How long does it take apple cider vinegar to remove genital warts?

I must say Apple Cider Vinegar works but it can be tricky you have to figure out the process at first it seems like its working when the first layer comes off you just have to stay at it not everyone body is the same healing may take longer but it will work for me it looked so ugly I didn't know if it was getting better or not but now I understand that it will scab over and start to peel and underneath is a new layer of skin I almost start another session towards the end because of how it looked but behind the crusty black flakey scab was a new layer of healthy skin I'm so happy 😊 I thought my sex life was done thanks to this forum I'm all clear don't give up this does work. I wish I had pictures of the process but I didn't know if this would work but it did 👌👍.

I started ACV treatment a week ago and what started as a small bump turned into this huge spot. Mine looks awful as well and I'm just curious how long did have to treat from start to finish? I've read some people treated for two weeks so I'm trying to be patient but it's hard to do when you look at it.

How long does it take apple cider vinegar to remove genital warts?

I've struggled with genital warts for some time now. After treating them and them being gone they came back after a five years. Apple Cider Vinegar does work, but not always. Here is my experience:

1. The best result I had was from a dermatologist burning them off with heat (not freezing them off). After burning them off, the dermatologist applied some sort of acid to the area for a few seconds. This was painful, but 100% effective. In his words "it's all about 100% cellular destruction of the infected cells". Which is why he burned them off plus acid. Note, burning them off without a doctor is not something I'd try.

2. Apple Cider Vinegar + home freezing kit takes care of most of them, but occasionally they came back. For me, it's about 90% effective.

3. Freezing them off is what has been the least effective, like it hardly works is expensive and hurts. I'll never try this again.

My current home remedy is clean the area, then swab down with ACV for a few minutes, then use the freezing kit, then dip a piece of cotton in ACV and tape in place for a few hours. I repeat this daily till its gone. After its no longer visible I continue applying salicylic acid to the area for a week just in case there are a few infected cells hanging around that I can't see. Hope this works or else its back to the dermatologist.

How long does it take apple cider vinegar to remove genital warts?

I'm on week 3 of treating a really big wart on the base of my penis. The first week seemed very promising but progress slowed in week 2 and changed my methods for week 3 and now things are really rolling.

first week- cleaned with hydrogen peroxide, then applied organic "mother" apple cider vinegar (brags brand from Sobeys) with a cotton ball and a bandaid for the night only. In the mornings id clean with hydrogen peroxide and reapply a little bit of Apple Cider Vinegar with a q tip then leave un covered and go to work. I did notice the wart turn super white and after a few days a few black dots. Super swollen, wart looked twice as big.

week 2- the white stuff is very slowly peeling off, no more black dots just white with a very swollen bump. The wart cracked a bit from jerking off and I stopped treatment and use polysporin. Continued treatment a few days later.

week 3- the results were still really slow, so I upped the treatment. I found the hydrogen peroxide was really harsh so I stopped using it all together.

New method- clean wart in morning with soap and water, dry and pat dry out the water (kind shrinks after draining the liquid) then I apply apple cider vinegar with a q tip for about 5 minutes til the wart soaks it up and gets big again. The I fold toilet paper and soak that and apply it to the wart and bandage it up for the day. After work I repeat the cleaning, soaking, and bandage until bed time where I do it all again.

now the wart is finally shrinking, more and more white is removed every morning. Theres some blood showing up which is making me happy. I'm going to keep doing this method until I see no more white when I apply acid.

I almost gave up treatment thinking the wart wasn't responding because of how swollen it was, I'm glad I upped the treatment, once that whitewashed away I knew it was working. Dont freak out if your wart swells up, it's full of acid and its part of the process. I wish I could share pics of my progress because I was seriously confused about when to stop treatment. I haven't stopped treatment yet but I'm hoping a few more days of this and ill be ok, still no scab.

Reading the stories from this forum has really helped me through this, thank you everyone who wrote about your experience. This was a very traumatic experience for me. I developed severe anxiety and lost about 10 pounds. I had no appetite and worried constantly, had the shakes. Finally seeing progress after 3 weeks has me hopeful.

Ill give and update in 2 more weeks

How long does it take apple cider vinegar to remove genital warts?

I'm throwing in the towel. I've developed severe anxiety. I can't eat or sleep or digest food. I'm fatigued and have lost the will to live. Tomorrow I'm going to the doctor for help.

The wart seemed like it was finally breaking down but the process is just taking way to long. Every time I look down at it I want to puke. If the wart was smaller it may have been more effective.

The guilt that I may have infected my partner has me suicidal. I'm seeking help for that as well.

I hope this treatment can help you, it almost helped me. But I'm just too tired and weak to continue living like this.

Hey Mike,

I have been reading through this site for a while and just came across your posts. I noticed that you were on here fairly recently and I wanted to check on you and see how you are doing now. I can relate in many ways to what you were saying so I felt the need to respond. I hope you have found some comfort and guidance with reaching out for further help. Please just know that this situation doesn't have to define you permanently, there are many ways to succeed in our quests for answers. It just takes time and due diligence. Keep your head up, and also remember that even if you did pass the virus along, that doesn't automatically mean they contracted it. And if they did, most people rid the virus on their own(without even knowing they had it a lot of times) in just a couple of years. Furthermore, just because you show physical signs of the virus, that doesn't mean your partner ever will. I am a woman with genital warts for 4 years now and my partner during that same time frame has never had any. I think he has already developed antibodies to me.

Still dealing with these two warts. Had them frozen about 7 times and it's still hanging around. The problem is I can't tell what's healthy pink skin and what's warty tissue, I have no idea when to stop any of these treatments. It looks very pink with tiny red dots, I can't tell of there wart Dota or just veins apart of the healing process. I don't wait for a full heal I hit it again with liquid nitrogen. Anyone know when it's time to let the wound heal and stop treatment? I can't find anything.

I don't know about gw but for warts in general you may want to try boosting your immune system. I had been dealing with them for at least 7 years on my hands and feet tried everything topical some would go away and come right back months later. Earlier this year I started taking now extra strength beta glucan and now immune renew to protect myself from COVID and within a few months I noticed that all the warts just disappeared.

I just read this message, and it concerned me greatly. This is a virus that up to 90% of sexually active people will contract. Please don't let this affect your mental health further. I understand how this can make people feel guilty and ashamed, but it's actually unnecessary. It sounds like you're giving yourself an incredibly hard time. You will get rid of the warts with a treatment that works for you, and many don't have any further outbreaks. Treat this like any other ailment, and don't let this make your mental health worse.

I hope this finds you and helps you, and the problem is already gone.

Best wishes,
Bobby

How long does it take apple cider vinegar to remove genital warts?

I remember the first time I noticed a wart on my shaft. 5 years ago. Freaked me out. Read about ACV as a treatment and started to spot treat it. Used cotton, plastic wrap, and medical tape to keep it on all night. The first night it turned white and swelled up huge. It was like it was hiding behind the skin. After the second night the pain was real but I kept at it. Third night it tuned black. Fourth white again. On the seventh day, something weird happened. I was like the white just turned to mush and it came off with a wipe. Sort of like the ACV just dissolved it after 7 days. Hurt like a mother to apply it in that period but when I saw it just smoosh away it was like wow, gone. Worth it. Thought about one more night just to be safe but chickened out looking at the crater it left.

Just put a little polysporin on the spot and wrapped it and went to bed.. There was a small crater where it was but after the swelling went down from the ACV treatment you couldn't even tell where it was or that it existed. Never came back. I'm a healthy guy, eat healthy. Sure that helps. So, bummer. I found this tiny bump in another spot and put some ACV on it, and that tiny bump has grown into a huge white spot ....again. Like its hiding Guess round 2. But at least I know its going to work and when its gone, it's gone.

How long does it take apple cider vinegar to remove genital warts?

I applied apple cider vinegar to a vaginal wart that occurred in the same spot about 6 yrs ago. It was so close to the mucus membrane of my vagina I wasn't sure it would work.

Here's what I did. I kept a small container near the toilet and I put little pieces of rolled up cotton in the ACV. I'd take one out and put it directly on the wart. I know this is graphic but here is where it was. The wart was on my labia major but almost on a fold that turned into the labia minor. It was a weird spot. I'd arrange the cotton on the wart and then fold my labia to cover it and hold it there for however long it would stay there.

It kinda burned and felt uncomfy but I kept up with it. The dimensions got smaller within a few days. By day 5 I couldn't feel it anymore but I continued to put ACV on the spot because I felt there was perhaps a bit more under the skin. So far so good!! All gone. I had a wart removed from that same spot 6 yrs ago... so it seems it is a reoccurring virus.

I did try tea tree essential oil during the first round but the TTO did not make such fast gains as the apple cider vinegar.

I've tried acv and it seems the warts come off but my skin around the wart region is so damaged, it quite yellow as it has a inflamation and it has some black spots even where I didn't have warts. Is it normal? I'm scared and asking myself if it's gonna naturally heal.

The black spots could be tiny warts too small to notice. I don't know of a reason the ACV would cause a yellow color. You might put aloe vera gel or vitamin e oil on the area if it seems irritated by the ACV.
