And is there an UP TO DATE list of how many c4/satchels it takes to blow up things?
I didn't realize it was only 1 c4 to blow a sheet metal door and they got through my airlock quick! Maybe it will take 2 c4 for a double sheet metal door?
level 1
Same as a single sheet metal door? They're the same thing
level 1
DOUBLE doors cost the same amount of c4 as a single one. 1 c4 for sheet metal, 2 c4 for armoured.
level 2
only 1? dam shouldn't double sheet metal doors be at least a bit stronger than a single one
level 1
Double doors have the same resistance as their single counterparts until you get to armored doors, then double are 3 c4 instead of 2 for the single door.
Don't discount double doors though, there's really cool stuff you can do with them.
level 2
No, double armored doors are still 2c4 or 4 rockets. There is currently no door that requires more than 2c4 or 4 rockets
The Sheet Metal Door is the most common door found on bases due to its resistances to melee weapons and fire but relatively cheap cost to craft. Regardless, it is still relatively weak to explosives compared to its expensive indirect upgrade, the 'Armoured Door'.

One of the best method for raiding sheet metal door is : - 1 rocket - +-6 explosives ammo
That's one of the most efficient way in terms of (cost/speed to break).

Cheaper way to raid sheet metal doors would be:
3 satchels and 3 beancans
or
2 beancans, 1 rocket, and 1 damage worth of melee swings
You'd want to do the
swings first in case there's a trap just behind the door.

This door can easily be made before you get a base down. Doing a bit of scrapping before getting a base down could help out as you would be starting out with a metal door instead of the extremely flawed wooden door.

You can dictate which side the door is going to open out to and use that to create a airlock, airlocks can help keep doorcampers out
