How much is 1 large fries at mcdonalds

There’s no arguing the fact that McDonald’s menu prices have been slowly creeping up every year. Gone are the days of the “Dollar Menu” and ridiculously cheap promotions like $0.39 cheeseburgers. But if you scan the McDonald’s menu carefully you can still find some great values. To help you out, here are the ten McDonald’s prices that absolutely provide the most bang for your hard earned money.

McDouble (Price $2.52)

A BigMac, priced at $5.47, is one of the more expensive McDonald’s prices on the menu, especially for a single burger.

So instead order a McDouble for only $2.52 and ask for it “like a Mac”.

You’ll end up with a double cheeseburger topped exactly like a BigMac with special sauce, onions, lettuce, pickles and cheese.

The only difference will be the missing half of a bun placed in the middle of the burger. But do you really need that for the extra $2.95?

Also, many McDonald’s locations have the McDouble on the “McPick 2 for $3.50” menu which is a GREAT deal at $1.75 per McDouble.

Any Size Coffee (Price $1.18)

If you’re like me and drink your coffee black, why would you ever enter a Starbucks when you can get any size drip coffee at McDonald’s for a little over $1.

Oh, and before you ask, the coffee at McDonald’s often beats Starbucks in blind taste tests.

Also, if you’re over 55, many McDonald’s locations will give you a free cup of coffee whenever you dine in.

McChicken (Price $2.10)

I love the value of the McChicken on the McDonald’s menu.

For just over a buck, you get a nice thick chicken patty, lettuce, and mayo on a regular bun.

Throw in an order of small french fries and a free ice water and you have a decent little meal for less than $3.

I’ve also heard of people sandwiching a McChicken and fries into the middle of a McDouble for a protein packed meal.

2 Cheeseburger Value Meal (Price $7.10)

When I was in college this was my go-to meal at McDonald’s.

With a McDonald’s menu price of less of around $7, you can get 2 cheeseburgers with toppings of your choice, French fries, and a soda.

This is a great meal to eat while driving too…trust me on that one.

Hot ‘n Spicy McChicken (Price $2.25)

If you want to add some spice to the plain McChicken, order the Hot ‘n Spicy of the McDonald’s menu and get it with a blend of unnamed yummy spices.

It’ll cost you 20 cents more but variety is the spice of life, right?

Sausage Biscuit w/ Egg Meal (Price $6.78)

By far the cheapest McDonalds price on the breakfast value menu, the Sausage Biscuit with Egg is also one of the yummiest.

For a very affordable $6.78, you’ll get the breakfast sandwich along with a hash brown and small cup of coffee.

Fruit ‘n Yogurt Parfait (Price $1.39)

At an affordable $1.39, this parfait treat is a terrific (and healthy) value.

This becomes especially obvious when you compare the price to a Frappe at $4 or Oreo Frappe at $3.59.

Hot Fudge Sundae (Price $2.66)

Add some nuts for free and you have a yummy treat at a nice price.

Especially true when you compare it with the McFlurry at $4.09 and McCafe Milkshake at $3.29.

Large French Fries (Price $3)

If you’re ordering burgers off the Value Menu for your family and want a cheap way to get fries, opt for the large.

At $3, you almost get the same amount of fries as 2 orders of the small.

Southwest Chicken Salad (Price $6.89)

The McDonald’s price on their Southwest Chicken Salad is hard to beat.

For less than $7, you’ll get a healthy and tasty alternative to a greasy burger.

This is especially true if you opt for the grilled chicken instead of the crispy fried.

Ask the Reader: What McDonald’s menu prices do you think provide the most value? Or do you usually order your favorite items regardless of the price?

Note: The McDonald’s prices that I list above are from my local Mickey D’s, they may be slightly different in your neck of the woods.

Oh, McDonald’s french fries, you can never go wrong with a fresh order of these bad boys. No matter where you are in the world, if you’re craving the delicious side, it shouldn’t be hard to get one.

One thing is for sure, though; they’re worth a lot more in certain parts of the world in comparison to some loose change here in Canada.

Along with Big Mac prices across the globe, Expensivity also took a look through all of McDonald’s international websites and uncovered the cost of an order of large fries in USD in countries across the world.

Wonder which country stands up top for the most expensive fries? It’s none other than Lebanon coming in hot at US$13.27. Israel comes in second at US$5.82, which is quite a discrepancy between the two most expensive countries.

As for the country with the most inexpensive price tag, the Philippines happens to sell their large fries for US$0.48, then Turkey at US$0.93.
