This instructable will show you how to make a paper shaped heart, using an 8.5" x 11" sheet of paper.

Step 1: Your Sheet of Paper
Start with an 8.5" x 11" sheet of paper. Any color will do.

Step 2: Fold Top Right Hand Corner
Fold top right hand corner, so that its edge aligns with the paper.

Step 3: Fold Top Left Hand Corner
Repeat previous step with left corner.

Your paper should look like this.

Step 5: Fold the Paper Back
Fold the paper back, at center crease.

Paper should have the following creases.

Step 7: Fold at the Center Crease
Fold at the center crease, pressing inward.

Step 8: Fold the Right Hand Corner Upward
Fold the right hand corner upward, aligning it with the top point (creating a diamond shape).

Step 9: Fold the Left Hand Corner Upward
Repeat previous step with the left hand corner, completing the diamond.

Step 10: Fold the Right Hand Side of the Paper
Fold the right hand side of the paper, aligning the edge with the bottom point of the diamond.

Step 11: Fold the Left
Fold the left hand side.

Step 12: Flip
Flip the paper over.

Step 13: Flip Back
Flip back approx. an inch and a half (1.5") of paper.

Flip down the triangular section at the top, making sure it folds all the way, at the original crease.

Step 15: Fold the Bottom Right Hand Corner
Fold the bottom right hand corner, creating a triangle that aligns at the bottom center of the paper.

Step 16: Insert Triangle
Make sure you insert the triangle from the previous step in between the slot created by the larger triangle.

Step 17: Repeat
Repeat the previous two steps with the left bottom corner.

Step 18: Fold the Top Right Point
Fold the top right point toward the center right, to form the top shape of the heart.

Step 19: Insert the Remaining Paper
Insert the remaining paper inside the slot created by the larger triangle, to hold the top in place.

Fold the left hand side.

Insert the remaining portion of the previous triangle into the slot created by the larger triangle.

Once the crease is like what it says you grab the top, pull it down and the paper does the rest.
