i don't recall there is a reset botton. if yyou drop the bike & the engine dies you have to turn the ignition off & then turn it back on & it should start. which side you droped it on? make sure your kick stand switch is not stuck or borken.
I had the bike on a rear stand, moving it around in the garage and it came off and tipped over (caught it before it hit the floor!) Is there a procedure to reset? Thanks.

Welcome.
It resets itself when the bike is upright again.
The ECM will reset when you turn the ignition key off then on again. If the fault is gone, all is good.
If you continue to have a TO fault code, check that the sensor did not come loose and is now tilted over. There is an arrow on the sensor that should point up.
Depending on the year/model bike, the TO sensor is in the tail or near the battery.
Post an intro, with pics of your bike, in the "new riders and members" section when you get a chance.

I turn the key on, nothing happens for a few seconds, then the dash starts blinking, everything going off in no particular order. Very sporadic, then one of the three modules behind the battery clicks continually and the neutral light flickers at the same pace as the clicking. Asked somebody at the shop and they said it's probably the tip over sensor. Didn't know it had one until today. It has ran perfectly fine for 6 years up until this point. Your gas may have gotten old. I tip mine over more than I should. No tip-over sensor (that I know of)

IIRC, the 1st gen doesn't have a tip-over sensor.

If it does have one to reset it just stand the bike up and tap on it with a screwdriver handle.
The sensor is just a chunk of brass that wraps around a copper and plastic semicircle, they tend to hang up in the tipped position a lot.
Your a doody head, with a poo poo face and a smelly butt!

The tip over switch is located in front of the battery and tap it with a screw driver or something if its caught up in the horizontal posistion to free the swinging mechanizm:rock:How do you reset the tilt sensor on a Harley Davidson?
