Facebook does not offer an option to affix a photo in its email message box so that the picture automatically appears in each email you send, as of August 2011. However, Facebook does include a feature where you can attach more than one photo to your outgoing messages, but you must re-attach the photos each time you send an email. The photos must be stored in your computer so you can attach them.
Log in to your Facebook account.
Click on the "Messages" icon -- it's a picture of two caption boxes -- on the upper left-hand side of the screen.
Click on the blue "Send a New Message" link that appears in the drop-down menu.
Enter the name of the friend you want to send the email to in the To field.
Type the body of your message in the Message field.
Click on the paperclip icon located beneath the Message field. The words "Attach a File" will appear.
Locate the photo on your computer that you want to attach. A window to your desktop will automatically open and allow you to search your files.
Click on the name of the photo and click the blue "Open" button to attach the photo to the message.
Repeat Steps 6, 7 and 8 for each photo you want to attach.
Click the blue "Send" button.
If you are new to Facebook and want to transfer a picture from your computer to your Facebook profile, the user interface might look a bit scary at first. However, uploading photos to your Facebook profile is a straightforward process that takes less than a minute. You can add as many pictures as you like and you will quickly get accustomed to the user interface.
Launch your Web browser, navigate to Facebook and log in using your email address and password.
Click "Photos" in the Apps section in the navigation pane at the left. If you do not see the Photos option, hover the cursor over the "Apps" section header to reveal the word "More." Select "More" and choose "Photos."
Click the "Upload Photos" button near the top of the page.
Click the "Select Photos to Upload" button. A file browser will pop up.
Select the picture you want to send to your Facebook profile and click "Open" to upload it.
Select the "High Quality" option at the bottom of the page if you want to post a high-quality image.
Click the "Post Photos" button to post the picture on your profile.
