I've always been curious: Is it better to open a window a small amount or all the way or somewhere in between? This may sound like a stupid question, but I always assumed that a smaller opening would force air through more, but as a non-engineer I have a lousy understanding of physics...
Note: Not asking about including a fan, I'm more curious about optimal size of window opening (like: 2" versus all the way vs. halfway).
