Fast and Furious is one of the most thrilling movies you can watch today because it is centered on heists, spies, and illegal street racing. Following its premiere in 2001, the Fast and Furious franchise has grown exponentially. In fact, it is the highest-grossing franchise ever to be released by Universal Pictures.
Fast and Furious 9 was a huge success
The latest Fast and Furious installment was just released last summer. The ninth film in the franchise saw the crew come together to defeat the most skilled assassin and high-performance driver, Jakob (John Cena).
Fast and Furious 9 also happened to be the first Hollywood movie to gross over $700 million. To say that the entire Fast and Furious franchise is successful is an understatement.
Following the latest film's success, two more Fast and Furious movies will be released. The tenth and 11th installments will be filmed back-to-back and be released in 2023.
But before the films come out, it might be a great idea to rewatch the first installments of Fast and Furious. And for those who haven't started watching the films, now is the best time to do so.
