If you think you’ve been banned by mistake, here’s how to open a case and let us know:

1. Click Contact us at the top of any page on EA Help.
2. Select the product that your account was banned or suspended from.
3. Choose your platform.
4. Select Manage my account, then Banned or suspended account.
5. Fill out any additional details.
6. Click Select contact option at the bottom of the screen.
7. Sign in to your account that has the ban or suspension, if you haven’t already.
8. Fill out the attached webform to give us all the details about your ban or suspension.

TIPS FOR FILLING OUT THE WEBFORM

Put this info in the case description:

• Your username.
  • This is your EA ID, PlayStation™Network Online ID, Xbox Live gamertag, EA mobile game-specific User ID, or game-specific username.
• Email address that's on your banned or suspended EA Account.
  • If you're playing a mobile game, your email address may not be linked to it. Email us using an email address that's linked to an EA Account so you can get more information.
• Detailed info that includes any error or notification messages that you saw.
  • Tell us what’s going on and why we need to take another look at the action that we took on your account.

Can You Unban an Apex Legends Account?

Yes, you can unban your Apex Legends account, albeit not in every single case. This also depends on why the account was restricted in the first place.

The biggest factor behind an Apex Legends account unban is essentially the reason for which you are punished.

For extreme toxicity, racism or real life threats, the chances of having the suspension overturned are extremely low to none.

Removing an Apex Legends Ban for Toxicity

Apex Legends is one of the few Battle Royale games that takes toxicity very seriously. In fact, it’s merely second to LoL toxicity bans.

In this regard, EA has a similar penalty system for toxicity, namely:

• 7 days account suspension for the 1st offense;
• 14 days account suspension for the 2nd one;
• permaban for the 3rd and final one.

Of course, this only applies for mild toxicity, griefing and rudeness.

For extreme cases, such as hate speech, slurs, threats and such, accounts are permabanned right away. Even without any prior suspension or warning. These are also the cases with a low to no chance at an Apex unban.

However, since toxicity is subjective at times (except for the slurs and racism), quite a few cases get unbanned from Apex Legends, even if they’ve been permanently restricted.

More so, a lot of the toxicity suspensions originate from player reports. Because of that, there’s also room for false bans here as well. Take a look at the image below, for example.

Not really toxic, is it? And it especially doesn’t warrant a ban, but there you go.

Bottom line is, yes, you can unban an Apex Legends account, even if the offense is toxicity.

Can You Appeal an Apex Legends Suspension?

There are a few reasons for Apex suspensions, such as:

• boosting;
• account sharing;
• glitches;
• RMT;
• griefing.

Of course, the same offenses can lead to a permaban too. In this chapter though, we’ll address only temporary suspensions.

To answer the question, yes, you can appeal an Apex suspension. However, that also depends on its duration.

If you’re suspended for 7 days, there’s a chance for the suspension to expire before EA has the chance to review your Apex Legends ban appeal. In this regard, it’s not worth it.

On the other hand, if you’re suspended for a longer period, you definitely can and should appeal your Apex suspension!

Do note though, as part of the above-mentioned offenses, any rewards obtained as such might be removed.

If any of your legitimately earned rewards are removed as part of the penalty, include them in your Apex Legends ban appeal.

1. Go to the EA Help page right here;

   Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on “Contact Us”.

   

2. Choose the platform you play Apex on;

   If you play on a computer, go with PC or Steam. For anything else, select the correct one, so they can easily locate your account.

   

3. Select the “Manage my account” topic;

   You don’t need to be logged into your account. However, if you’re able to, you can go ahead and log in.

   

4. Pick the “Banned or suspended account” issue;

   Alternatively, you can go with “Can’t log in”, “Hacked account” or “Restore account”, based on the nature of your issue, whether it’s an Apex Legends ban appeal or account recovery form.

   

5. Click on “Select contact option”;

   This will take you to the final form in order to unban your Apex account.

6. Input your name and email;

   If you’re logged into your account, you should automatically skip this step.

7. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on “Email”;

4. Can you get rid of a HWID ban in Apex?

The easiest way through which you can remove a HWID ban in Apex is by appealing it.
The process is similar to the account ban appeal above.
Another solution is to change your computer parts, although it’s not certain which ones. Your best bet would be all of them.
Alternatively, you can try using a spoofer, but that’s not a permanent solution.
Using a VPN will not help, as the ban is not placed on your IP.

5. How do I know if I’m banned in Apex?

For account bans, you’re unable to log into the game and play. You should also receive an email about your penalty.
For Apex HWID bans, any new account you create will get automatically banned within an hour of playing. Even without breaking any further rules.

6. Why do I keep getting banned on Apex?

This is likely a HWID ban, which keeps placing restrictions on any account you log in from that device.
You can submit an Apex ban appeal or change your device altogether.

7. How long does it take to get unbanned from Apex Legends?

There isn’t a particular timeframe to unban an Apex account. This mostly depends on how fast EA reviews your case and gets back to you, as well as on the complexity of your case.
