Is there a Tom and Jerry game on the Nintendo switch?

Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 Plus is a Maze, Puzzle, and Single-player video game created by Bandai Namco Studios and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. The game is the downloadable content pack for an arcade video game in the series of Pac-Man, released for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Microsoft Windows. In this updated version, the game introduces an exclusive two-player co-op mode, and it is the direct sequel to Pac-Man Championship Edition. The game offers exciting gameplay based on both titles such as Championship Edition and Championship Edition DX, which offer fast-paced gameplay to the original Pac-Man format. The player controls Pac-Man with an aim to go through different mazes in order to gather pellets while avoiding roaming enemies, including ghosts. Either a piece of fruit appears that moves the player to the next level, or the Power Pellet that lets the player eat a ghost, after gathering enough pellets. Unlike the previous game, in which touching enemies would instantly kill the player, enemies can now bump into three times in succession before they get into any Angry state, upon touching will cause to lose a life.

PAC-MAN Championship Edition 2 + Arcade Game Series is an Adventure, Maze, and Single-player video game developed by Bandai Namco Studios. Throughout the game, the player takes on the role of a protagonist named Pac-Man, who has to explore multiple locations to collect pellets.

The player must avoid the obstacles and traps created by the roaming ghosts in the game. The game sends Pac-Man to the next maze and grants a Power Pellet that can assist the player in eating ghosts when the character has collected enough pellets. Be careful, as the player will attain death after touching the ghosts.

If the player passes by sleeping ghosts, it will allow the ghosts to add a trail behind the other ghosts. The player can use jump pads to jump over parts of a maze to deceive the chasing ghosts. The game features two main modes, such as Score Attack and Adventure mode, with different gameplay and significant objectives.

The animated cat and mouse duo Tom and Jerry have appeared in various video games.

Computer game[edit]

Tom & Jerry (also known as Tom & Jerry: Hunting High and Low) was released for Amiga, Atari ST, and Commodore 64 computers in 1989 by Magic Bytes. Another game with identical gameplay, Tom & Jerry 2, was also released that year for the same platforms and the MSX, Amstrad CPC and Sinclair ZX Spectrum home computers.

NES/MS-DOS game[edit]

  • A Tom and Jerry video game (also known as Tom and Jerry: The Ultimate Game of Cat and Mouse! or Tom and Jerry (and Tuffy)) was released by Hi Tech Expressions for the Nintendo Entertainment System on December 3, 1991[3] and for MS-DOS in 1993. Tom has mouse-napped Jerry's nephew Tuffy and locked him in a trunk in the attic. Usable weapons include bubble gum, meat cleaver, cups of water, moth balls, hammer, invisible ink and drill.
  • Tom and Jerry: Yankee Doodle's CAT-astrophe was released for the PC in 1990, also by Hi Tech Expressions.

Game Boy games[edit]

  • Tom and Jerry was released in October 1992 by Hi Tech Expressions in the US and by Altron in Japan.
  • Tom and Jerry: Frantic Antics! is a video game based on the 1992 film Tom and Jerry: The Movie. The game was released on October 2, 1992[8] for the Game Boy and in December 1993[9] for the Sega Genesis.

Sega game[edit]

Based on the 1992 film of the same name, and released for Sega Master System and Game Gear.

Super NES game[edit]

A Tom and Jerry video game was released for the Super NES by Hi Tech Expressions in April 1993 in the US and by Altron on June 25, 1993 in Japan. The player controls Jerry, the mouse, as he traverses through four different themed worlds – a movie theater, a junkyard, a toy store, and a house. Tuffy is playable through second player.

Jerry or Tuffy use marbles as weapons. At the end of each world, Jerry goes into a battle with Tom, the cat.

Entertainment Weekly gave the game a B and wrote that "The competent yet often uninspired Hanna-Barbera cartoon series is now a competent yet often uninspired video game. In Tom & Jerry (Hi Tech Expressions, for Super NES), very small players may get a kick out of guiding mouse Jerry through nemesis Tom's none-too-wily traps."[22]

Game Boy Color[edit]

  • Tom and Jerry was released on September 27, 1999 by Majesco Sales Inc. It is a colorised version of the 1992 Game Boy game that also adds a bonus card-match game between each level.
