The Air Jordan 1 low debuted in 1985 alongside the Air Jordan 1 High as the first low-top signature sneaker developed by Nike for Michael Jordan. The Peter Moore designed sneaker featured a simple Nike Dunk inspired design that incorporated the Nike Swoosh and the Jordan Wings logo and featured Nike Air.

The Air Jordan 1 Low originally released in several colourways that mirrored the High releases which included Bulls inspired and metallic colourways. The Air Jordan 1 Low returned in the 2000s and has seen several retro releases since.

Revisiting the roots of the path of the G.O.A.T, the Air Jordan 1 Low OG 'Carolina' revisit MJs Alma Mater. Taking on a colourway that features a striking mix of Dark Powder Blue and white/black that's fitted to take over the streets.

Luka Dončić and the Dallas Mavericks are off to a solid start to the NBA season. However, the league isn’t the only place the 36 points per game superstar is thriving. Dončić launched his first signature sneaker with Jordan Brand earlier this year. Since then, various colorways, including a collaborative Quai 54 look, have launched. As Jordan Brand rolls out its various basic team colorways, the Jordan Luka 1 finds itself in two classic looks.

The sleek sneaker starts in “White/Blue” where a primarily white look is accented by blue at the branding, midsole and heel. Matching this color structure, the “White/Red” pair follows suit with red serving as the color breaking up the mostly white makeover. Both pairs feature court-ready technology such as a Formula 23 foam midsole and a new IsoPlate foot frame. Each upper also carries Flightwire cable technology that provides breathability.

Look for both of these new Jordan Luka 1 colorways to arrive on shelves in the coming weeks via Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers worldwide at a price of $110 USD.

In other notable footwear news, Zion Williamson continues to usher in new Jordan Zion 2 colorways with a “Fire & Ice” pack that also features the Air Jordan 12 Low.

Coming off an impressive win over the Brooklyn Nets, Luka Dončić and his NIKE, Inc. team have recently unveiled a white and blue style of the Jordan Luka 1 sure to match with countless team uniforms.

Reminiscent of the “Neo Turquoise” pair that launched in early July, the upcoming sneaker boasts a clean arrangement across most of its construction. Perforated details on the tongue and the inner bootie deviate from their surroundings in a bold blue that also animates branding and other components on the Dallas Mavericks guard’s first signature shoe. Structural pieces visible at the midsole and heel follow suit, and will likely don different hues as Jordan Brand continues to pump out options for basketball teams of all levels.

Enjoy official images of the pair ahead, and anticipate a Nike.com launch soon.
