Yea, I gotta give credit where credit's due. Last week, I said I hoped Bakugo lost because he has in the past displayed (at best) a woefully limited talent for teamwork and coordination with no interest in improvement. I thought losing would give him the impetus needed to realise that that is neither acceptable nor sufficient for being a real hero.
But after this episode, I will happily admit I was wrong. "Whenever you guys are in danger, I'll protect you. And whenever I'm in danger, you protect me. 4-0, no injuries." That's the basis of teamwork right there. Hell, dare I say it, even leadership. There's little arguing with the amazing level of in-sync coordination they displayed in that absolute blitzkrieg of a match.
He may not be anywhere near the level of leadership, coordination, and teamwork that Midoriya is at, but I gotta respect progress. He's getting there. Maybe someday he'll even be a likeable character!
