Sorry, we did not recognize your account in our system 2k22

This is what I'm getting when I try to log into the logo uploader site for 2K19. I've scoured Google trying to find a resolution, and have turned up nothing useful. Any ideas how to fix this?

Edit: Problem solved. I needed to actually boot the game up and agree to the EULA first.

I also am having this issue as I’m trying to upload my face texture. It’s annoying because it recognizes my account for 2k20 and 19 if I click the ps4 button. do you happen to be on ps5?

Did you read the EULA agreement and etc. when you first boot up 2K19?

do you have the game already? mine's arriving later today but i wanted to upload images ahead of time and got the same message, but when I went to the 2k18 one, my profile was signed in

You have to read the EULA agreement when you first start up 2K19 to use the Uploader.

unable to go online

i read somewhere that i need to login to nba2k20 website so i can play my career. i tried connecting my account but i got this error message every time i try.

edit: i forgot to mention that clicking "Online" menu in-game just makes the game reload and go back to the main menu after. please help me so i can make the my career function work. i bought this game because my nephew wants to play it. please help. thank you.

yep. tried again just now and still the same message. btw, idk if this is important but when trying to login, it seems that the nba2k website is trying to log me in twice. after the first login, nothing happens and i have to repeat the login again then i get the "Sorry, we did not recognize your account in our system" message.

does anyone know a solution to this? if my career is not possible then i might as well just refund since my career is the only reason why my nephew wanted this game.

okay. so i finally figured it out. the issue is stemming from non-updated copy of the game so make sure you have your NBA2k20 updated. if it doesn't update during launch, try rebooting your device and then relaunch NBA. this should prompt the update. after that, click online and you will be prompted to fill up for the 2k account form. proceed with the registration and then verify your account after. i hope this helps others who experienced the same issue i did.

Yeah, I downloaded the game 2 days ago and done Validating the integrity of steam files twice and still nothing. Whenever I try to connect to the game it says you must be signed in and when i try to sign in it say that they don't recognize my acc

This is still happening for me. Last time I played 2k20 was before this whole MyAccount stuff.

Now I get the 4b538e50 error when I open the game and my MyPlayer game is just GONE, and when I try to verify the files they verify, and when i let the game sit or play now, no update triggers, and when I try to sign in to nba2k.com it says that it can't recognize my account.

Is this just 2k saying "screw you, buy the new game, we deleted everything"? Because it seems like a BS money grab planned obsolescence thing.

The servers for NBA 2K20 have been down since the beginning of this year, so that's probably why.

How do I fix an expired 2K account?

If you've launched NBA 2K20 only to find that your account has expired, don't panic. First off, please verify your account. If you aren't sure which email address is linked to your 2K account, please verify this in-game from the Main Menu > Features > Settings > scroll to the very bottom to 2K Account Email Address.
NOTE: If nothing happens when click on the "LINK ACCOUNT" button, please check to make sure your browser doesn't have pop-ups disabled. If you ever want to sever the connection between between your 2K Account and any of your linked profiles, just click "Unlink" beneath the platform you want to remove.
