I have seen both men and women who work at resorts wearing flowers (mainly hibiscus) behind their ears.

Yes, men do wear flowers behind their ears - Left side - means 'single & looking', right side means 'married or spoken for'. Same with the ladies.

Many guests male and female pick a frangipanini flower to wear behind their ear. Staff often will give you one to wear.. The smaller resorts seem to do to this more personal traditional offering.

You don't tend to see it outside resorts certainky not in general on the streets or local precincts. Quite often sales staff will wear them.

Some men do wear flowers behind their ear outside a resort (anywhere inFiji) - mainly Tourism personnel, Sales/Marketing, those helping out Tourists, restaurants, bars. But villagers not usually, unless going somewhere special. No-one will take notice if you are anyway. It is acceptable - Go with the Fiji flow!
