Below, you will find specific red dots paired with the correct base. All of the MaddMacs bases are red dot specific, but many red dots use the same footprint, hole spacing and pin alignment.
Some have the same footprint but use less alignment pins. For example, the HoloSun® 407K/507K has the exact footprint of the Shield® RMS but only requires the two front pins. While some have the same hole spacing and pin alignment but have
different footprints. For example, the DP Pro and Shield® RMS have the exact hole spacing and pin alignment but the DP Pro is much longer than the Shield® RMS.
Burris® FastFire™ II & III
Vortex® Venom™
Trijicon® RMR & SRO
HoloSun® HS407C, HS 507C & HS508T
Swampfox Kingslayer
Leupold® DeltaPoint Pro
Shield® RMS, RMSc, RMSw & SMS
HoloSun® HS407K & HS507K ***Choose 407K in the
drop down menu. The standard RMS base will NOT work with the 407K/507K***
Sig® Romeo0 ***Choose RMS-Compact in the drop down menu after clicking Buy Now***
Riton X3 Tactix MPRD *** Choose RMS-Compact in the drop down menu after clicking Buy Now***
All of
the Romeo red dots use different footprints or pin spacing. There are 3 options to choose after clicking Buy Now.
1. Sig® Romeo1
2. Sig® Romeo1 Pro
3. Sig® Romeo3 XL
All other bases not listed here are red dot specific. For example, if you have a Vortex® Viper, you will want to go to Vortex Venom/Viper/Razor™ page and look for the base designed for
the Viper. Yes, the Viper will fit the base designed for the Venom, but the footprint is totally different so it will not be flush on all four sides of the base.
If you don't see your red dot listed here or can't find a base on this website specifically designed for the red dot you have, you may be able to use a MaddMacs base that has the same hole spacing and pin alignment. Click on this link to find your red dot

Technically yes, the Delta Point Pro matches the J.Point mounting footprint. But this specifically uses Shield RMS/RMSc footprint mounts because of the dimensional difference between the Leupold Delta Point Pro and the Romeo Zero as they are very different in size. The Delta Point Pro is much larger than the Romeo Zero. You will need the Romeo1 PRO as that matches the Leupold Delta Point PRO footprint. It can be found here:

i have a 320X compact on the way that held a delta point pro 2.5 moa. i was looking for something in the 6moa range with the same footprint. i know DDP has a 7.5 triangle. if i read correctly, the DPP has an RMSc print. but the smaller micro sights for this might be to small. i emailed holosun about this as well. but i think they're all RMR's

No, the Romeo Zero does NOT share the same footprint as the DeltaPoint pro.
The Romeo 1 Pro has the same footprint as the DeltaPoint Pro.
level 2
Now the new Romeo Zero Pro shares the 1 pro footprint. Old post but in case anyone pops in like I did
level 2
What kind of optic cuts will it fit then?
level 1
It's not going to fit on a full-size cut for optics. It's a sub-compact red dot meant for the p365xl. I think(?) it fits the springfield hellcat but might need an adapter plate.
level 1
It’s not the same footprint but it shares mount hole spacing and diameter. Also has the holes for the 4 DPP recoil bosses.
level 2
So it will technically fit but there will be space left on the sides?
level 1
Correct. Not so much side to side but mostly front to back.
level 2
Awesome I'm ok with that. Thanks for the help!
