The simple fact is that ANY time taken away from pure leveling is wasted time IF your goal is to get to 50 as fast as possible. Doing only the main quests is the fastest and most efficient way to get to 50. If, however, you don’t really care about getting to 50 as fast as humanly possible, do whatever quests you want.
Side quests don’t really move the XP needle, so they don’t help your leveling all that much. They do, however, provide other useful things. But they don’t go anywhere. They will be there after 50 if you skipped them. So speed levelers just get to 50 as efficiently as possible and then, over time, go do the side quests. But it’s your game and you should play it how you want 🙂

Do side quests , or skip them?
As title, my char is currently lv 30.
So far i did all the quests i was able to find = Main + Side quests

do the side quests, some of them give you some sweet rewards
usually there are only a couple side quests that send you to the same area as the main quest anyway so there really isn't a reason to skip them and some can give pretty nice rewards. the only time I've been flooded with side quests so far is vern which you don't even get to till after lvl 50
side quest are always next to main quest and very very Brain dead easy
You will get to the point most things like islands and side quests will reward you with upgrade items for your gear 100% worth it also get stat increases and allot of gold to
and more
Don't skip the side quests and purple quests, some of them are prerequisites for end game chain quests, some of them unlock awakening, some of them unlock other things on islands, etc.
It's better not to skip any quest before Vern because the quest givers and return points are always next to main quest npcs and the objectives are next to main quest objectives. If you do them later then it's kind of like doing the main quest a second time. And you will want to do them at some point because doing them gives things like stat increases, extra skill points and stats that you need to interact with npcs.
