LEIL SHABBAT SERVICE
Winter
From mid October to mid March we begin our Leil Shabbat service when Shabbat begins. During these months Mincha on Fridays will always begin at the candle lighting time for that week, followed by Kabbalat Shabbat and maariv.
Summer
In the summer months, from Mid March to Mid October, when nightfall comes in quite late, we usher Shabbat in early (it is permissible to do this up to 1¼ halachic hours before sunset). Our Leil Shabbat service will always begin at 6:30pm with Mincha, followed by Kabbalat Shabbat and Maariv.
SHABBAT DAY SERVICE
We begin Shabbat day at 8:30am with an inspiring shiur from David Sacks who offers insights into the parsha while unpacking nuggets of Hasidic Torah wisdom that we can easily apply to our modern lives. Accompanied by coffee, tea and pastries – join us!
Our prayer service begins at 9:00am and ends at 11:45am followed by Kiddush. To sponsor a Kiddush in honor of a special occasion or in memory of a loved one, click here.
SHABBAT CANDLE-LIGHTING
According to halacha (Jewish religious law) Shabbat begins at sunset. Shabbat candle lighting times listed are 18 minutes before sunset, however please allow yourself enough time to perform this time-bound mitzvah at the designated time; it not advised to wait until the last minute.
