But with weapons that upgrade themselves and the ability to turn into an amorphous blob, this season of Fortnite got off to an exciting start. That being said, some players may want to know when The Herald plans on leaving the Island or how long they have to unlock Spider-Gwen.

When does Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4 end?

It’s been confirmed that Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4 will end on Saturday, December 3, 2022, at 1PM PT / 4PM ET / 9PM GMT.

We know this because that’s when the chapter-ending live event begins.

Like always, these dates and times are subject to change as Epic Games has extended seasons in the past. We’ll update this article if that does happen, but it seems unlikely at this point.

When does Fortnite Chapter 4 start?

The tentative start date for Fortnite Chapter 4 is Sunday, December 4, 2022. If it follows the pattern of previous seasons, downtime will probably end somewhere around 8 AM or 9 AM ET.

It was previously believed that Fortnite would be heading into Chapter 3 Season 5 next, but it’s now been confirmed that we’ll be getting a whole new chapter instead!

Will there be a live event in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4?

There will be a live event to mark the finale of Chapter 3 Season 4. It’s called Fracture and it will begin on Saturday, December 3, 2022, at 4AM ET.

We don’t know anything else about this live event yet, but it’s safe to assume that it will bring an end to the Chrome saga of the story – especially with a brand new chapter beginning shortly after.

When does Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 end?

Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 will end on Sunday, September 18, 2022, at 2 AM ET.

Epic Games confirmed in a tweet that this is when downtime for the new season will begin, although we don’t know how long that will last yet. Make sure you’ve finished all your quests by then!

When does Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4 start?

Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4 is expected to begin on Sunday, September 18, 2022.

We don’t have an exact launch time yet, although there’s usually a long period of downtime between seasons so it’s best to expect to be waiting a while before you can jump back in to the game.

What will happen in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4?

We don’t know much about Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4 yet, but the first official teaser image emerged on September 1, 2022, when it was accidentally posted early on the Nintendo eShop.

The image shows a hand reaching out of liquid chrome. Leakers have revealed that this hand belongs to The Paradigm, a member of The Seven who’s rumored to be voiced by Brie Larson.

Interestingly, the liquid chrome has already started appearing in the game, so it definitely feels like a clue to the next season. Some leakers have speculated that chrome could work similarly to sand tunneling.

More chrome-related teasers have emerged since then, with the official Fortnite website hinting that the new season will be called Paradise and that chrome will soon begin spreading across the Island.

As for Fortnite’s story, we should get an explanation for the Reality Tree that’s spreading its roots across the island, and we might see more of that mysterious figure at the end of the season trailer.

What will be in the new Battle Pass?

Nothing has been confirmed yet, but leakers have claimed that the new Battle Pass will feature Gwen Stacy from Spider-Man: Into The Spiderverse, with Miles Morales coming to the Item Shop later on.

It’s also been teased that a Goth/Emo Meowscles skin will be part of the Battle Pass, and it seems likely that we’ll get a Paradigm skin if it really is her in the Chapter 3 Season 4 teaser that was posted early.

While these franchises most likely won’t be featured in the Battle Pass, it’s worth noting that DC’s Black Adam and Marvel’s Black Panther: Wakanda Forever are both being released in the next few months.

Given how many Marvel and DC characters have appeared in the Item Shop so far, it seems very likely there will be collaborations with them at some point in the new Fortnite season.
