The message is “What’s the perfect shade of blue? Devin Booker, Vince Carter, Christian Laettner, and Sue Bird happen to have some very strong opinions on that matter.”

As the NBA's best team, the Phoenix Suns keep racking up wins and their All-Stars Devin Booker, Chris Paul and coach Monty Williams are answering more calls to appear in TV commercials.
Booker is featured in two new Corona beer commercials, which also include cameos by its pitchman and rap icon Snoop Dogg, basketball luminaries Vince Carter, Christian Laettner, and Seattle Storm guard Sue Bird.
The two Corona Extra's "Shades of Blue" ad spots are set at a beach, like most of the Mexican beer brand's commercials' locations. Booker, Bird, Carter, and Laettner sit together at a tropical bungalow bar.
The first of its two 30-second ads premiered last Friday and the second one on Wednesday, the timing coinciding with the NCAA's men's and women's tournaments that begin this week.
The actors debate which shade of blue is the best, a nod to their the college team colors.
Booker was a one-and-done player from the Kentucky Wildcats, Carter was a North Carolina Tar Heel, Bird is a Connecticut Huskies product, and Laettner is a former Duke Blue Devil.
Bird's closing joke in the first "Shades of Blue" commercial refers to when she led UConn to its undefeated 39-0 record and national title during the 2001-02 season. Her quip also poked fun at the Wildcats' loss to Wisconsin in the 2015 Final Four, which ended their chance at a perfect season (38-1), much to Booker's visible chagrin because he was on that Kentucky team.
The second ad has more lighthearted humor, showing the foursome's difficulty in trying to avoid their obsession with discussing basketball.
The ad campaign marks the first commercial appearances by Booker since he saluted the late Kobe Bryant's mural in the initial "NBA Lane" 75th anniversary season clip released in October.
In addition, Williams and Paul were in a State Farm insurance commercial together, released during February's All-Star Weekend.
