I have tried to play my friends in pool in iMessage, but every time I send the game, their response is with a picture. I didn't have my phone updated for a minute until today. But even though I downloaded the app, it's still isn't allowing me to play the game. I have been able to play the game with one person but not all of them. I need help.

Hey Drew.mrgn,
Welcome to Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you're having issues with an iMessage app sent to your device. I also see that you've tried to download the app directly but
still are unable to play. What we can try to do is remove the app, force close the Messages app and restart the device.
Here are some resources that can help:
Use iMessage apps on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch
Manually add or remove apps that you download
If you turn on Automatically Add Apps in the Manage tab, your iMessage apps automatically go to your app drawer when you download them. If you turn off Automatically Add Apps, you can manually add apps to your app drawer. You can also manually remove them. Here’s how:
- Open the app drawer and tap
.- Tap the Manage tab.
- Turn on the app to add it to your app drawer. Turn it off to remove it.
Download iMessage apps
Use the App Store for iMessage to download apps to use with Messages.
- Open the app drawer and tap
to go to the App Store for iMessage.- Tap
next to the app, then tap Install.- Enter your Apple ID password.
After the app downloads, you can find it in the app drawer.
Some apps let you make additional purchases within the app. If you set up Family Sharing, you can use Ask to Buy to help control app downloads and in-app purchases. Learn more about in-app purchases.
Force an app to close on your iPhone,
iPad, or iPod touch
Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
Let us know if this helps.
Cheers!
