If your fully charged battery or device flashes when pressed, there may be a 'short' occurring or the protection measure to prevent the battery from shorting is being activated. This can be caused by a variety of things, but the most common issue is liquid on the connection thread or battery posts (depending on what type of vape you have).
If this is occurring the first thing to do is wipe the threads of the battery and tank, reassemble, and then try again. If that doesn't work, try loosening the tank a bit and see if it fires, as it may be on too tight. You need only loosen it ever so slightly at first, then keep gradually loosening it until the light stays solid.
Issues with pod mod devices like JUUL, Phix, and Suorin can be attended to in a similar fashion: simply clean both the pod and device connections with a cotton swab or tissue. For product specific issues, refer below:
My Juul Won't Hit
If you find your Juul won't hit, then you can try two things. First, take a cotton swab and clean around the battery posts located inside the Juul device (a bit of pressure and a swirling motion works particularly well). You can also clean the bottom of your pod to make sure it's free of juice.
Another cause of your Juul not firing could be due to the connection not being properly secured. Pop out your Juul pod and check to see if the two metal tabs stick out enough to make solid contact with the battery. Should they be pushed in too far, you can take your fingernail or a knife and slightly angle them upward (cautiously).
My Juul Won't Charge
If your Juul won't charge, then you may need to clean the base of the Juul device with an alcohol swab to remove gunk that accumulates from normal usage. If the problem persists, you may need to buy a new Juul USB charger or replace the device itself.
Juul Blinking Green
A Juul blinking green will occur under normal circumstances after you use your Juul or activate the battery check by tapping the device twice (in some instances by accident). It indicates a full or near-full battery. If this is not the case and your Juul is flashing green in quick succession, refer to the "My Juul Won't Hit" section above, or contact the Electric Tobacconist helpdesk.
Juul Blinking Yellow
A Juul blinking yellow will occur under normal circumstances after you use your Juul or activating the battery check by tapping the device twice (in some instances by accident). It indicates a medium battery. If this is not the case and your Juul is flashing green in quick succession, refer to the "My Juul Won't Hit" section above, or contact the Electric Tobacconist help desk.
Juul Light Stays On
The Juul LED will typically stay on for around 8–10 seconds after using the device and is perfectly normal. Try shaking your Juul back and forth to enter "Party Mode"!
Why Is My Suorin Air/Sourin Air Pro Blinking Blue?
The Suorin Air blinking blue is a common issue that is most likely caused by either a faulty pod or vape juice interrupting the connection between pod and battery. Try cleaning the bottom of the pod with a paper towel or cotton swab as well as the connection point on the battery. You may also want to try an entirely new pod.
If these methods do not work, there is a chance that vape juice has leaked into the battery housing unit. This is possibly caused by using a high-PG nicotine salt or traditional vape juice. High-PG liquids are less viscous than VG juice and are more prone to leaking out of a Suorin Air pod into the inner battery housing. In this case, you may need to replace the unit completely: if you bought your Suorin Air at Electric Tobacconist, it may still be under warranty and you can contact the help desk for a replacement. You may want to pick up some better juice as well!
