MUT function keeps saying can’t play games due to parental settings. There are no settings selected. Then it automatically disconnects from ea server every time

I am having this issue too but I am the account manager logged in and playing as that user. I can't change any of these settings because they don't appear.
Also after temporarily disabling PS4 restrictions it still didn't work.

Same exact problem here. This is unacceptable, seeing they haven't responded to your post I'm sure they wont to mine either. Thanks EA.

You can restrict use of communication features such as chat and messaging, and set spending limits for PlayStation™Store. These settings apply to children who have permission to join PlayStation™Network.
Select a user from
Restrictions also apply when using some other PlayStation® systems such as a PS Vita system, or when using
Communication and User-Generated Content | You can restrict the following types of features.
|
Age Filtering for Online Content*1*2 | You can limit access to online game features and PlayStation™Store content based on your child’s age. |
Monthly Spending Limit*2 | Set the maximum amount of money that your child can spend per month on purchases in PlayStation™Store. |
Make an exception for the use of communication features in a game
As the family manager or parent/guardian, you can make an exception and allow the use of in-game communication features in a specific game, even if [Communication and User-Generated Content] is set to [Not Allowed].
If your child sends you a request to use
communication features in a game, you can take the following actions to allow or not allow the request.
What your child needs to do
If your child tries to use the in-game communication features during a game, a screen displays that lets your child send you a request. If your child follows the instructions on the screen, the family manager or parent/guardian will receive a message.
What the family manager or parent/guardian needs to do
You can review your child’s
request by visiting the following website from your computer or smartphone. After signing in with your own account, select [Family Management] > [Allowed Games] to allow or not allow the request.
//www.playstation.com/acct/family
- The request message will be sent to the email address that you use as your sign-in ID.
- Your child can't send requests for games they're restricted from playing.
