Az, I think that Disney is just trying to make the cartoons seem more realistic.

Wow I just got done watching that movie. I could see that guys face but couldn't think of his name. He was the short bald guy in Princess Bride who Drank the poison wasn't he?

I guess I missed that.
I can't think of any animated movies that don't have good triumphing over evil at some level. Is that some element that draws us into the story? As an adult I have enjoyed most of them.
