Find out how long the current Genshin Impact banner will last and who you’ll be able to pull for on the next banner if you save your primogems

Genshin Impact
Genshin Impact banners adhere to a pretty regular schedule. Each update arrives with a new banner (or two) that lasts three weeks, followed by a second phase of banners which also lasts three weeks (barring any delays), at which point a new major update will drop.
Wondering what the next Genshin Impact banner is? We never know the exact details until banners are officially announced during the livestreams that precede each update. Occasionally, banners don’t stick to the typical schedule – most notably, update 1.3 had three two-week banners, so that Hu Tao’s banner didn’t cross over with the Chinese New Year. We also know that, for Genshin Impact 3.0 through 3.2 at least, these versions will last five weeks instead of six, so each phase will be shorter.
Every limited-time character banner – or Event Wish – contains a five-star character, and three four-star characters with increased drop rates. There’s also a Weapon banner – Epitome Invocation – which runs alongside each character banner, which changes weapons every update. Here’s everything you need to know about the current and upcoming Genshin Impact banners.
Genshin Impact current event banner
The current Genshin Impact banners are Tighnari’s banner, Verdant Strider, and Zhongli’s banner rerun, Gentry of Hermitage. These will run until September 9.
Verdant Strider features:
- Tighnari
- Collei
- Diona
- Fischl
Gentry of Hermitage features:
- Zhongli
- Collei
- Diona
- Fischl
Genshin Impact current weapon banner
The Genshin Impact weapon pity system gives you the chance to pull a five-star weapon on the current weapon banner. The featured items in the current Epitome Invocation banner are:
- Hunter’s Path (five-star Bow)
- Vortex Vanquisher (five-star Polearm)
- Favonius Codex (Catalyst)
- The Stringless (Bow)
- Favonius Sword (Sword)
- The Bell (Claymore)
- Favonius Lance (Polearm)
Next Genshin Impact banner
The next phase of Genshin Impact 3.0 banners will go live on September 9, and will feature a Ganyu ‘Adrift in the Harbor’ rerun, and a Kokomi ‘Drifting Luminesence’ rerun.
Dori will be a four-star character on Ganyu and Kokomi’s banners. We don’t know yet who the remaining four star options will be for these banners.
Future Genshin Impact banners
In terms of future banners, several new Genshin Impact characters showed off by Hoyoverse in a recent video are speculated to appear as playable characters in future updates. Hoyoverse recently announced Candace, as well as Nilou and Cyno, as upcoming playable characters, and we think these will drop during Genshin Impact 3.1
Other characters, such as Deyha and the Dendro Archon Kusanali, could also appear in future banners.
We’ll let you know as soon as any new Genshin Impact banners are revealed but, for now, you can read our Genshin Impact tier list, plus our Genshin Impact hangout guide, as well as the best Genshin Impact builds for each character.
