Chicken breast is considered healthy, affordable and versatile since there are many ways to prepare and cook it. And once you put it on the George Foreman Grill you can actually make restaurant-quality
grilled chicken breast with very little expertise. For grill chicken breast, I recommend using skinless boneless chicken breast, 1/2″ to 3/4″ thick, to produce the optimal results. It’s also important to preheat your Grill (up to maximum temperature) as it
sears in the flavors. Here’s a quick, easy and unbelievably delicious chicken breast recipe that you can make right on your George Foreman Grill. Preheat your George Foreman Grill for at least 5-7 minutes on high with the lid closed. Lightly brush chicken breasts with olive oil. Sprinkle salt and pepper to taste. Place on grill and grill for 6 minutes (with an optimal
internal temperature of 165F/74C). Make sure to turn the chicken breasts halfway around the 3-minute mark so they get nice grill marks on both sides. Enjoy your freshly grilled chicken!Ingredients

This grilled chicken recipe is marinated in a simple lemon-garlic marinade before grilling. The result is a tender, juicy grilled lemon chicken recipe that's perfect for summer. Although this grilled chicken recipe is designed for a George Foreman grill, you can also make this grilled lemon chicken on a regular grill. Be sure to flip the chicken halfway through grilling when using a regular grill.
This dish is best served with a fresh garden salad or a side of grilled veggies.
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice (about 1 lemon)
1/4 cup olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/8 teaspoon kosher salt, or to taste
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper, or to taste
1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 4 large fillets)
Gather the ingredients.
In a large bowl, whisk together lemon juice, olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper.
Add the chicken breasts, turning to coat with the marinade. Refrigerate and let marinate chicken for 30 minutes.
Preheat the grill. Cook chicken breasts on the grill 5 to 6 minutes or until cooked through. If using a regular grill, turn chicken breasts halfway through the cooking time.
Transfer to plates and serve immediately. Enjoy!
Preparation Tips: Using the George Foreman Grill to Make Chicken
There are a few simple things to keep in mind when grilling chicken with the George Foreman grill.
- For tender results, use only boneless chicken breasts or thighs. The meat can be cooked as is or pounded with a meat tenderizer for faster cooking.
- Chicken must always be cooked until thoroughly done (about 4 to 6 minutes) to make sure you don't get sick. Don't cut into the chicken halfway through cooking on the George Foreman grill — the juices will run out and you'll end up with a dry piece of chicken.
- To check if fully cooked through, touch the center of the breast with a fork to note firmness. The cooked chicken breast should feel firm, but not hard. Alternatively, you can use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature; it should be at least 165 F.
Tip
- Cleanup Tips: Immediately after you are done grilling your chicken, unplug the grill and spritz the grilling surfaces with water. When the grilling surfaces have cooled, wipe the grill plates using mild dish soap on a moist sponge or paper towel. Using a clean paper towel with a spritz of water, wipe the grill clean.
