How good are with a torch? If you feel up to it you can cut the pin out and then deal with the rest of the pin once it's out.

Not sure what a pipe for leverage would do. Hit the end with a mallet (small sledge) and knock it out/loose.

I say that because I see no fresh metal or hit marks on the picture you posted. Should easily pop out with a tap of the hammer. I am speaking of the end with the ring groove with the taper on it.

When you say torch, I now assume you mean a little propane torch for like plumbing and such.
That's not going to cut it. You want a oxy acetelyen torch. That will get it much hotter. But heat alone won't do it. Heat and beat or just cut it out.

Heating the pin will only make it tighter in the hole. You'd need to heat the hitch and receiver. Both of which are a bad idea. Only good options are a hammer. If that doesn't work. Get yourself a bigger hammer. Or a pneumatic hammer!

Was the picture of the pin befor you hit it? I dont see any marks to suggest a sledge was used.

Spray it down. Mix some penetrating oil of your choice in with some trans fluid. The trans fluid will help the mixture stick instead of just dripping off. Hose it down though. Rusted metal is best if you soak it for a while. Like each morning for a few days. Then beat the snot out of it.

Same as others. Spray it with a good penatrating oil, then wait a half hour, spray it again, wait a half hour, spray it again, etc....
Then hit the angled end of the pin with a 2 lb hammer or bigger to hopefully make it twist and break the rust free. Then, hit the tip of the pin in towards the receiver. If that doesn't work, spray, wait, spray, wait, spray wait and go about smacking it some more, then repeat. Trying to heat it up in between cycles of hammering and lubricating some good heat would not hurt. I would think a propane torch would be enough on both sides of the receiver at the holes. If it doesn't come out after that, give up and take it in.
But, I don't think that should be necessary.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, it is an electrical problem

It was before. The sledge broke the tip of the pin (from the notch to the end) off... I'm gonna cut my losses and look for help.

As for the torch, yes a small propane one - it's all I have.

Did you try hitting the end with the angled handle? Hit it sideways, it might break the rust free. Don't give up yet?

One thought-
You could try to carefully use a jack on the bent end of the pin, to see if by leverage you can twist it (using the weight of the truck + the jack to force the pin to spin free). I'm guessing once it breaks free, it'll pop right out.

Sounds good! Just be careful with that jack- you'll be generating a lot of force in a very small area.
