Wallen continues to stay busy, teasing many new tracks since the release of his record-breaking, sophomore album “Dangerous: The Double Album” in January of this year.

Yesterday, Morgan Wallen took to Instagram early in the morning to show off a brand new track titled “You Proof” which features a double entendre where Wallen states that he needs something “you proof” to drink away the memory of someone. The track is backed by a bassy hip-hop beat, stronger than those which have appeared in his former tracks like “Wasted On You.”

Despite dropping a thirty song (thirty-two bonus) double album earlier this year, Wallen shared that he has been eager to get new music to his fans, “Been wanting to put out new music,” said Wallen. Recently, Wallen has shown off many new tracks including a demo of his track “Boy Out The Country,” “Thought You Should Know” (as a tribute to his mother), and “Drink U Back.” Just weeks ago, Wallen shared a video of himself, Eric Church, and HARDY performing a harmonizing performance of “Sand In My Boots” as Darius Rucker sat on and watched from the background. It’s no secret that Wallen has been focused on his craft as of late.

Last Friday, “Good Morning America” aired an exclusive interview with Morgan Wallen where he sat down with GMA’s Michael Strahan to discuss his words and the consequences that followed. In addition, Wallen shared the steps that he has taken to educate and better himself.

Months ago, after controversy sparked surrounding Wallen’s words, the double-album saw a drastic increase in sales. Following the release of the thirty song set (thirty two for the bonus album), Wallen shattered multiple records; especially amongst digital streaming platforms. Jimmie Allen recently spoke out regarding his conversations with Wallen following the controversy. To close out 2020, Wallen was named one of the top country artists of the year, trailing only behind Luke Combs.

If Wallen keeps it up, fans can likely expect another project from the Tennessee native in the near future.

Morgan Wallen’s new song, “You Proof” is out now, May 13th, on all streaming platforms. Listen to the brand new song below.

In honor of his own birthday, Morgan Wallen decided to thank his fans with a gift! The singer-songwriter followed his release of “Thought You Should Know” with another fan-favorite, “You Proof.” After teasing the track several months ago, fans have been begging Wallen to release the song, and he finally obliged.

The country song is all about drinking away the memory of a past love. An all too familiar feeling, the singer taps into the emotions anyone who has ever dealt with heartbreak could understand. Although Wallen does not condone drinking away your feelings, it is safe to say he knows how it feels to deal with heartbreak. His vocals soar on “You Proof,” another example of the singer’s one-of-a-kind talent.

“I need something you proof, something stronger than I’m used to // I’ve been pouring 90 to 100 // feelin’ like nothing’s gonna cut it // that’s the hard truth // I need something you proof, aw, I need something you proof”

This is truly the year for Wallen. He continues to give his fans everything with both his live performances and his music. Only time will tell to see how much more the megastar accomplishes in his young career!
