The manga is better by far. The anime is really good and faithful up until the arc when it introduce Wild Hunt, but then they ran into time constraints and it went down hill.

I'm a big fan of the anime myself but reading the manga right now I should tell you to go for the manga because the anime just leaves some characters with no screentime and leaves lots of things without explanation bc of how rushed it is

Big fan of the anime, but I feel like the manga was even better I personally prefer the manga ending over the anime ending.

The manga is better characters have more growth and has more stakes.

I thought the manga was superior at first, but then I realized it utterly collapses in on itself just before the anime ends.

I vote anime.

Anime was airing when the manga was still ongoing so the anime had its own ending. Manga ending was better.

So I am highly interested in watching Akama Ga Kill. However, I'm not sure if I should read the Manga first and then watch the show. Or watch the show first and then read the Manga? My brother has up-to vol.7 and he also has some volumes of akama ga kill zero that I could read. I'm not huge into reading manga. I've been sporadically reading Gundam: the origins and Claymore. I know typically the Manga are better than the shows but what do you all think? Which should I do first? Also sub or dub 😬

AGK was one of the series I've been meaning to get into long ago and I've recently decided to check it out soon. But I did hear that the anime eventually branches off from the manga towards the end, especially with certain characters surviving/dying as differences between the anime and manga. However, I did hear a handful of people prefer the anime ending over the manga ending (with some of them even saying to just watch the anime instead of the manga for some reason).

So before I get into the series, which should I keep in mind is the canon form of the series so that I don't get confused?

Leone’s fusing didn’t work temporarily. She was already fused with teigu but after Honest defeated her and thrown her off, she died, she died immediately and Leonelle cannot revive the dead. But due to her fusing with Leonelle, her body and brain was still able to function so she went after Honest. The reason why she couldn’t live’ is precisely because her body was already dead, she would slowly rot away along with Leonelle, start loosing her kind as her brain dies off so instead of suffering she decided ti say goodbyes and go ‘meet with the others’.

In case with Tatsumi, him and Incursio fused but Incursio is a teigu that is able to evolve and has a mind of its own. As a result, Tatsumi and the danger beast were ‘fighting for the body control’, thus being two separate entities in themselves that are forced to coexist until one of them surrenders which doesn’t happen due to Akame. With Leone it wouldn’t have worked since Leonelle isn’t as ‘alive’ and doesn’t have a separate entity, as well as Leone being already dead by the time ‘fusion became visible’, there was nothing to be done about her.

No doctor could even help Leone, she was already dead, her body was just able to move while slowly losing functions in muscles and organs-_- It’s not an issue of time, it’s an issue of no doctor being able to resurrect the dead
