What should a nursing peer review include?Evaluate the quality and quantity of nursing care based on practice standards. Determine the strengths and weaknesses of nursing care based on practice standards. Provide evidence for change in practice protocols to improve care. Identify practice patterns that indicate a need for more knowledge.
Why is peer review important in nursing?The primary purpose of peer review is to help ensure the quality of nursing care through safe deliver- ance of standards of care and new- ly discovered evidence-based practices.
What is Title 22 of the Texas Administrative Code help implement and reflect?(1) A social worker shall not refuse to perform any act or service for which the person is licensed solely on the basis of a client's age, gender, race, color, religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, or political affiliation.
