Are Daisy and London still together?

When VH1's 'Rock of Love' took off in the early 2000s, Daisy de la Hoya wound up with her own reality bachelorette-esque show, and fans watched her choose London, the one guy in the house of men who seemed to really connect with Daisy.

But years later, what happened to Daisy de la Hoya's now-ex, "London"?

Where Is Daisy De La Hoya Now?

Life hasn't necessarily been easy for Daisy de la Hoya since 2009's 'Daisy of Love' concluded. As most fans recall, Daisy picked her winning man, who went by London on the show, and things seemed great. Unfortunately, that was the reality TV smoke and mirrors.

Daisy later admitted that she had been struggling with substance abuse issues during not only VH1's 'Rock of Love 2' but also her subsequent reality series. In her pursuit of love, Daisy seemed to spiral. Yet things also didn't turn out well in terms of her love story with "London."

Shortly after the series ended, Daisy stated that she thought her now-ex might have been out to make a name for himself, rather than looking for true love.

Who Was London On 'Daisy Of Love'?

It turns out "London" (all the guys on the series went by an alias) was Joshua Lee, a seemingly great guy who viewers were really rooting for. But as Daisy later revealed after the pair broke up, the reason for their split was that Joshua was expecting a baby with someone else.

More than ten years later, of course, it's hard to pinpoint timelines. But Daisy's assumption was that Joshua was still with his baby mama and was only hoping to use her to gain notoriety in his own career.

The unfortunate thing was that no one knew what the truth was, and Daisy's interpretation of events as well as her explanation of the breakup was called into question due to her substance abuse issues.

In fact, when Lacey Sculls from 'Talk of Love' interviewed Joshua Lee in 2020, YouTube commenters were thrilled, and not because of Lee's ties to Daisy.

What Happened To London From 'Daisy Of Love'?

As Lacey Sculls elaborated as a preface to her interview with "London," he's really tough to track down on social media. He has a Facebook page, but its last active post was in 2009, and Joshua admitted that he purposely went underground from social media for his "mental health."

He also elaborated that while social media is a great tool when he wants to promote something (say, an album), he finds himself wasting time scrolling otherwise. And even in the earlier days of social media, such as the forums centered on 'Daisy of Love,' Lee fell victim to trolling for comments about himself, and that wasn't a great idea, he noted.

But as was revealed in the interview, Joshua does have a daughter, and still maintains a relationship with his daughter's mother, too.

Did Joshua Lee Use Daisy For Publicity?

To hear Joshua Lee AKA London tell the story, it almost sounds like he unwittingly walked into a reality TV saga he never wanted to be part of. Prior to being cast on 'Daisy of Love,' Joshua was in a band -- nothing big-time, he explained -- but he was living the good life in his 20s in New York.

But then he auditioned for the show, got a callback after a couple of months, and then was handed an explanation of what the show actually entailed. So, it seems, he may not have known that the show was a reality dating series when he initially signed up.

But one of the accusations that fans have made about Joshua Lee is that he "used" Daisy for publicity. In Lee's own words, he stated that he thought the show would be good for his band's promo, but Daisy didn't even factor in; he didn't know who she was at that point.

Was Daisy De La Hoya And London's Relationship Real?

In the interview with Lacey Sculls, Joshua Lee stated unequivocally that he and Daisy had a real "connection." In fact, he said that most of the relationship development happened not only off-camera, but off-set; after London withdrew from the show, he and Daisy stayed in touch.

Still, the fakeness of the whole production took its toll, and Joshua agreed with Lacey that being cut off from the real world while 'falling in love' isn't healthy nor realistic. And similar to shows like '90 Day Fiance,' reality TV, whether a contestant "wins" or "loses," can change someone's life.

Where Is Joshua Lee Now?

Joshua Lee is still working on his music, and seems very close with his daughter, who turned 12 in October of 2021. He doesn't regret the decisions he made and stated that his daughter really saved his life.

In fact, Lee stated that he would have taken a bad turn had he remained in LA in the reality TV world of Daisy de la Hoya, regardless of how much of a connection they may have had.

After looking for love on his reality series Rock Of Love, people are curious if the famous singer Bret Michaels will get married. One contestant that became famous after appearing on Rock Of Love is Daisy De La Hoya. What happened to her after the show officially wrapped? Let's take a look at what her life looks like now.

Daisy De La Hoya's Life After The Show

There are some people who have appeared on reality TV that fans would love to see land their own series, and Daisy De La Hoya was one who got her own show after her season of Rock Of Love came to an end.

Daisy has gone through some tough times in her life. She has been open about her substance abuse after her time on Rock Of Love. According to an interview with VH1, Daisy said, "I was just born into this type of thing which is something that I have been doing for a long time and [this lifestyle] just maybe amplified it. I think it takes a certain type of personality. I think that’s just a part of who I am, but I’ve overcome those things now."

By the time that 2016 interview released, Daisy shared that she had been sober for two or three years. She also shared that she hadn't gotten along with her mom, that they hadn't talked in13 years, but they were trying to repair their relationship. Daisy explained, "That’s a big deal for me and also very painful, but this is all a part of the healing process and journey of a human being. My journey at least."

In 2010, Daisy talked about her relationship with Corey Haim, who tragically passed away. According to Access Online, Daisy said that they had met each other at a Super Bowl gathering because they were both friends with Corey Feldman. Daisy said that she and Corey Haim connected because they both have had hard times in the past. She said, “I have dealt with those issues myself so when I see myself in somebody, I recognize those demons and I want to be there to help people, so I naturally always flock to the wounded birds.”

She Started Her Own Show Called 'Daisy Of Love'

According to VH1, Daisy also starred in a reality show called Daisy of Love, which came after Rock of Love. She told the publication, "It’s hard to, you know, you gotta be interesting and funny, and beautiful or whatever and hopefully people love you, and they watch you and your career flourishes, and you go on."

The show aired for one season that lasted 12 episodes in 2009 on VH1. Daisy was trying to search for her soulmate, and there were almost 20 guys on the series. This format very closely resembled that of her reality debut in Rock of Love.

Daisy chose a man named London, but according to Reality Tea, they broke up shortly after the show. In September 2009, Daisy let her fans know what was going on with their romance in a blog post. She said that although she loved London, a previous woman that London had dated was now pregnant. She also wasn't sure if he was trying to up his fame status and that was the reason why he wanted to date her, especially since he was in a band.

Daisy Caused Some Reality Show Drama

There was some drama on the second season of Rock Of Love, which is often the case with this genre of television. Daisy and her ex-boyfriend lived together and, according to Cheat Sheet, this came out during filming.

A producer told the publication that another cast member, Heather Chadwell, would talk about this on a regular basis. The producer said, “I understand that Daisy living with her ex was alarming, but Heather only continued to bring it up as a way to jab at Daisy. In my opinion, Heather was totally and utterly jealous of Daisy from the start."

Fans will be glad to hear that although Daisy de la Hoya has had some hard times, she is doing well now.
