Are greenworks and kobalt 80v batteries interchangeable

I have the Kobalt 80-Volt Electric Lawn Mower and was wondering if the batteries are compatible with any other systems out there? Someone said they might work with Earthwise or Greenworks? Trying to see if there are any deals out there right now for snow blowers. Kobalt is still MSRP.

As far as I know they are rebadged greenworks tools and batteries.

That's what I heard too. Just found a blog that says the same but the slots are not the same so they will not fit out of the box, they need to be modded.

For what it's worth, Greenworks was the Chinese factory that used to manufacture for other big US brands and then decided to start their own line back in 2016. This is one reason you may notice a lot of their items are VERY similar to other brands. I know for a fact they made some of Husqvarna's line. Would not surprise me if they are manufacturing for Kobalt which explains the similarities but incompatible batteries.
