Aromatica Rosemary Scalp Scaling Shampoo review

I generally really like this brand, this shampoo in participation was such a dream! It lathers really well in comparison to other natural shampoos, it didn't make my hair stiff either. This has rosemary and BHA in it so it helps with purifying and exfoliating the scalp. A wonderful shampoo for those with oily scalps. Aromatica Rosemary Scalp Scaling Shampoo review

I was very curious about this shampoo, but when start using it seems like average good shampoo with cooling effect. The size is small and price is high dur to very good compositions, very pleasant rosemary scent gives a bit dry feeling in the scalp, not recommended to sensitive skin. I don't like the packaging as prefer bottle with pump

I bought this for my sensitive dry scalp, and I am in shock! I was literally losing clumps of hair for weeks. I didn’t expect this result, but I swear my hair loss has decreased greatly since the 2nd use. I apply directly to my scalp and gently scrub and work through hair. I bought for dry hair and am shocked with the benefit of no longer worrying about hair loss. To me that’s worth every penny! The bottle is typical size, will last me probably 2 months with every other day washings. Beat quality, natural, safe, refreshing scent, eco friendly package did leak very slightly. Not quite enough moisturizing affect so I need to use conditioner, but that’s normal for my thick hair. Best shampoo I’ve ever used in my life. If you’re mature age and have damaged hair or hair loss, buy this. You won’t regret it!

Smells and feels great! Also love the simple elegant design. The bottle itself is just plastic and kind of squeezy, so it doesn't feel very luxe when holding it, but appreciate all the measures they've gone through to make it easy to recycle the bottle (easy label removal tab on the front label, etc).

It’s not bad. I was expecting more from this since it’s over $20. My scalp seems to smell more now than before for some reason. I don’t think I’d buy this shampoo again tho. It lathers nicely and scent is nice. Decent size bottle and quality seems good too. I’m not sure if it’s moisturizing

mild scented, I use this every 2 days. quality seems good, the size is good and a little amount is enough. we'll packaged. I have oily hair, this shampoo was good and I use it along with my scalp exfoliator from the same brand. no harsh ingredients so good for sensitive skin.

Cleans hair and scalp without leaving any residue. Very good for addressing oily scalp. Not overly moisturizing, but good even for a sensitive scalp. Recommended.

Great size and the scent is good. I really like that it has rosemary and salicylic acid for scalp care. Paired with a silicone brush and it keeps the scalp really clean and healthy.

I LOVED this. I always struggle with finding a SLS free shampoo that lathers and cleans the scalp well . Smells fresh and love that it contains Salicylic acid to exfoliate the scalp out of oils.

2.0 out of 5 stars Meh, didn't live up to the hype

Ok, so. I noticed my scalp was flaking and my hair was shedding to the nth degree, which is not something I typically struggle with. I decided to do a coconut oil treatment, and it helped a little. My scalp was definitely less flaky, but they were still there. The biggest problem was I couldn't wash the oil out of my hair, so my head looked consistently wet for 2 days (first picture). After some research, I decided to order the Rosemary Scalp Scrub along with the Rosemary Scalp Scaling shampoo. I used the scrub first, rinsed, then shampooed, and my hair and scalp feel AMAZING (2nd 3rd and 4th pictures). My hair is totally cleansed of oil, my scalp isn't itchy and there's not a flake to be found! There were a ton of suds which was suspiciously surprising for a natural shampoo, but if it works it works. I don't know that I could use it everyday, because it feels like it could be drying for my fine hair. I will update as I use it, but I'm quite pleased.

Update 1/21/20:
Continued use of the shampoo and scalp scrub, but the flakes have returned. My scalp isn't AS itchy as it was, but of little consolation. My hair does feel great, though. Downgrading to 2 stars.

5.0 out of 5 stars Doesn't skimp on the extracts!

After using this shampoo for a few days now, I'm totally sold and plan to buy it again. My scalp tends to be itchy and sometimes flaky thanks to both combination skin and plaque psoriasis, so I tend to gravitate towards shampoos with mint, rosemary, or tea tree oil. This particular brand is quite nice because the first ingredient is indeed rosemary oil--and the second ingredient is Japanese red pine oil, not water. You really can feel (and smell!) the difference, and I'm very happy with the results.

I have been using the scalp shampoo from aromatica for 3 years already. I love this product. It's perfect for my oily scalp with thin and fine hair. My hair used to be so fine and thin, and over years on this shampoo, I did gain back more hair and now have much less oily scalp. The quality of this product definitely makes it worth the price. My husband loves it too. We are not planning on changing our shampoo for at least 10 years. I hope this product is listed as an amazon auto-subscription item. I just love it so much!!

5.0 out of 5 stars I LOVE this shampoo

I LOVE this shampoo! I subscribed through aromatica on their website, and they sent me a free sample of this shampoo and a few other skin care products. After one use, my hair felt FINE. I knew I had to get more of this stuff. I never bought a shampoo more than 10 dollars, so I was a bit put off by the price but it is so worth it. This will last a long time. You don't need a whole bunch to wash your hair with, and I find I can wash my hair less often than I used to. It also smells really good!

was so excited bc it claimed to be scalp scaling
it smelled really good in the bottle
unfortunately when I went to use it for the first time just now,
felt too mild
didn't lather as well as I'd expected
the scent wasn't refreshing or cooling on my scalp as I'd really hoped for
and after drying my hair, the scent obviously didn't linger which I really like from my shampoos/conditioners since I don't use any additional fragrances

What does scalp scaling do?

Scalp exfoliation involves using physical or chemical exfoliants to remove excess skin cells, oil, and dandruff. Many hair experts maintain that regular scalp exfoliation is the key to healthier, shinier hair from the roots to the tips.

How do you use aromatica shampoo?

Apply scrub and delicately massage with fingertips. Apply shampoo into wet scalp and hair. Apply conditioner evenly and leave in 2~3 minutes.
