Assassins Creed Syndicate The Sandman glitch

The Last Maharaja was the Last Straw for me.

I've obsessively 100%d every single AC game.

Every collectible. Every mission, with the optional objectives. Every nook and cranny explored. I even got the PS3 exclusive Copernicus Conspiracy on PC and played it.

After Black Flag, I took a break. My PC at the time couldn't handle Unity, so it was a while before I returned to the series. And then I played Rogue (enjoyed it very much), Unity (waaay better than I thought and gorgeous) and then I started Syndicate. Main game was fine, characters were fun. Side quests were alright. Left the collectibles for post game, and having finished all the quests, started the Last Maharaja.

Dear Lord, 2 missions in, it fucked up. And Evie got stuck and the game would never reload. Said fuck it. Got off the series for a while.

Came back for Ripper, though. Fantastic DLC.

And Origins is a breath of fresh air.

Thank fuck for that.

Assassins Creed Syndicate The Sandman glitch

The Last Maharaja "The Final Showdown" bug fix

Had this bug for several sequences where Jacob walked up to the King at the dock. The quest dialogue would pop up to press "E" to start, but when you did nothing would happen. The NPC would just sit there and the quest icon would disappear from the map until the next restart. You could go on to do other things just fine, it was like a scripting error wouldn't actually start the quest.

Anyway, my fix for this was to restart the game from scratch, spawning at the docks as Jacob, and to NOT press the quest icon in the map, simply walk over and start it. It then went to a cutscene and worked fine. Hope that helps if anyone else is having this issue.

I had a cutscene play out on the train with Henry where Evie and Jacob were invisible, but their pistols floated through the air as if attached to their hips. Henry handed one of them a box, and the box just floated there. half hilarious, half infuriating cause I had to reload my game and sit through those long load screens.

You mean isnt on purpose? LOL. I think i have had at least 3 of these invisible train cutscenes now that you mention it. Sort of annoying, but reall i just care about the dialog and what is supposed to happen next.

I've had random stuff - jumped into a haystack and kept falling through the game..also strangled a cop and he died but was stuck to me.

I actually saved the video clip of this happening, and just re-watched it. Jacob and Evie or actually stuck in the doorway of the train car, while their invisible doppelgängers wander around the scene and every dialogue. super weird, but not a huge deal.

The only glitch I've personally encountered was in the midst of a Quadra kill, 2 of the Templars just dropped dead right at the start and so I was killing the air where they had been standing.

By the edge of those wilds, warriors have charged. But now the years have passed, the generals have left and the grass grows in the armours hollow on the hill.

I had something similar happen where I was doing the triple kill where you stab one guy's hand, pinning it to another guy's chest, and then throw a third guy between them and clothesline him.

I stabbed the guy's hand into the other guy's chest, and then a carriage drove through and plastered both of them, so then I threw the third guy into nothing and he did the clothesline animation anyway.

Good times.

the real loser is the guy who has an account since 2005 and somehow has less karma than me and i made my account around 2012. - LordKaizer

I just ran into a glitch that I recorded where when escaping the wreckage of the train in the first mission caused me to over jump an escape point, from there I couldn't return to it, but I could walk through a bunch of unfinished areas with no collision detection. I was climbing thin air and walking through mountains and underground.

I'm all for hating on syndicate but in my time the glitches aren't too bad. Now let me rephrase, there are glitches, but I've never played an open world game of any significant magnitude with no glitches.

Saw a Blighter Brute get trapped in a wall, though that was just minor oddity, not really a problem. It was actually possible to assassinate him, following which his corpse flipped around heavily when exiting the wall.

It is also possible to get sort underneath/inside of ships. Not too annoying though since it is possible to get out.

Just today I had a Blighter train clip into the hide out while I was viewing souvenirs, I got stuck for a few minutes until my train started leaving and I had to climb out and up the car to get away from all the angry thugs.
My first day playing, a guard didn't load properly and therefore I got spotted by an invisible thug.

Is it sad to say that I personally encountered less glitches in Unity, despite 100%ing it?

The audio on the Bounty Hunts looping the way it does is just the way they happened to program it, as opposed to an actual glitch (or at least, it appears that way to me logically). Whenever they struggle against you while they're kidnapped, they stop talking. The game is simply repeating the line (even if that voice clip is 99% complete) because it never finished it earlier because they were struggling.

However, I did run across a really stupid set of unrelated glitches trying to finish the Hypnotist side-mission.

Minor side-mission spoilers to follow, though there really isn't anything to spoil about this side-quest:

First, he was in the garden of the house he was robbing as opposed to the top floor of the house behind a a dozen henchmen, and because he was in that location, he could easily see me try to sneak up on him because of the layout. I eventually managed to sneak up on him and deliver him to Scotland Yard, only for the game to make him disappear on me while trying to take him out of the carriage and failing the mission because he "escaped".

The second attempt, I find out his location on my first attempt was glitched, and thus found him in the proper location this time. However, I could not take him out of the carriage when I brought him to Scotland Yard this time for some reason. Had to purposely fail the mission to retry it again.

The next time, he suddenly died for no reason when I brought the carriage to Scotland Yard.

Then, because of the glitch I experienced in the first attempt, I was completely scared to try to take him out of the carriage, though some minutes of second-guessing myself finally tried it to beat the mission.

The whole thing took a good half-hour longer than it should've because of that first glitch.
