I ordered these hoping they would work and they do - so far. Unlike the Farberware ones, they are lined, which makes my hands feel better. i detected no odor at all, unlike what was mentioned by other reviewers. Reviewed in the United States on January 4, 2018 My gloves were delivered on Nov 28, 2017, and I've been using them every day since for washing dishes and other cleaning tasks at home. I
love these gloves! I had used unlined gloves previously for the past couple of years, but after a short time those gloves would stretch badly, feel moist inside and develop a bad odor. When I saw these gloves on Amazon, I was anxious to try them. What a great find! The lining makes the gloves more comfortable to wear, provides a stronger barrier to intensely hot water, and, so far, has helped them retain their shape and fit, while keeping my hands dry, and no odor! I'm really thrilled to have
these gloves, and would not wish to return to standard unlined cleaning gloves. Reviewed in the United States on February 21, 2018 UPDATE April 23, 2018 With household gloves it's always going to be a compromise between comfort and how strong the glove is against heat and pointy objects. These do a great job for how I use them. If each pair lasts this long, the cost works out to $2.50 per month and I think that's fair. Besides, I plan to continue using the first pair for other chores that don't involve submerging my hands in boiling hot water. My usual glove size is a medium; these are a little tight in the fingers but not too bad; they went on easily and they came off just as easily after doing the dishes. Most other gloves I've purchased are slightly on the big side - either too long in the fingers or too wide on the hand; the fit of these was much more comfortable and made the dishwashing less of chore. Even if each pair holds out only a month (like my old gloves) I'll gladly buy these again. Reviewed in the United States on April 1, 2019 These gloves make me happy when I put them on because the colors and pattern are so bright and cheerful! They are nice and thick and have a flocked lining, which means I can tolerate hotter water which makes them great for washing dishes. I rated them 4 stars instead of 5 because these gloves are a Chinese product not originally intended for sale in the US, and as a result they do have a few things that deduct from the quality. One, the gloves run small so even though I got a size Large they are a touch small on me. Not enough to render them unusable but if you have a doubt about size, definitely size up. Two, the gloves have a strong smell when you first open the package. It dissipated quickly and a day later the odor is gone but if you have chemical sensitivities you may want to pass on this product. Three, the second package contained two right hand gloves! Super annoying but I turned one of the gloves around to use on my left hand and somehow it works. Considering that the first pair of gloves lasted for two months before springing a leak, I still think this a good deal. I just placed my second order for these gloves. Reviewed in the United States on March 31, 2022 The gloves are retro cute. The lining is soft. The lining unfortunately pulled away from gloves on one pair. They also began to leak after two weeks of daily dish washing. On my second pair ( 2pair pack) so far so good after two days of use. Reviewed in the United States on July 11, 2022 The first of two pairs in the package lasted 4 weeks before a mystery puncture appeared. The lining is a separate thing so feels nice but once it gets wet it doesn’t dry. The linings can also be smaller than the gloves so the fit is off - like when the lining in a dress is a size smaller than the dress. Four weeks of use before developing a hole is not reasonable quality for the price. |
