It glides very smooth and reclines easily! It's very comfortable too! My husband says it's a little short for him but he is 6'4". It fits perfect for me(5'7")! It is a little lighter than in the picture, that's the only reason it didn't get all 5 stars. I scotch guarded it and I'm hoping that will help keep it looking new. The fabric is very soft and comfortable and it held up well to the scotch guard! We have 3 kids that destroy everything and 1 of them sits in this chair all the time now on her phone playing games and eating snacks. My cat somehow doesn't touch this chair and claws up ever other piece of furniture in the house. This was originally bought for my son's nursery so I could hold him and nurse him but now it is in the master bedroom and we all love sitting in it (the cat and dog too). I wish this company made regular furniture bc I am looking for a comfortable and durable couch. The fabric is soft, I love how it rocks and it is easy to spot clean with a damp cloth. small and sleek that would still recline and be super comfortable. This chair ticked all those requirements for me, plus it swivels. It came earlier than expected, which could have been terrible if I wasn’t home when it arrived, since you have to sign for it. It states that the set-up should be done with two people, but I was able to do it just fine by myself as it was only two pieces and the part I had to lift wasn’t that heavy. **UPDATE: 1-1/2 YEARS IN TO USE** In my original recipe I was concerned about cleanability - no more! This chair spot cleans with a baby wipe and looks brand new a year and a half later (in a household with 5 kids under 12 years old, a big dog with black hair, and 2 shedding cats!!! I plan on buying a second chair! ORIGINAL REVIEW: Excellent chair, especially for the price! This same chair is available from Walmart for under $360, however, I added this to my baby registry and used my completion discount of 15% off to bring down the price and purchased through Amazon. Delivery was quick (3 days) and packaging was well done to keep the chair protected. Assembly was simple - all that is needed is to attach the back to the base - although 2 people are needed. I didn't realize the chair would be textured, I assumed it would be more of the 'plush' type microfiber, but I'm very happy with the aesthetics of the chair anyway (and I actually am quite pleased with the texture as I feel it makes it look a little more high end). **I've attached a picture of the chair's arm to show color and texture** My couch is the 'plush' type microfiber and VERY easy to clean, so my only concern for this chair would be its cleanability, especially since scotch guarding microfiber isn't recommended... But we'll see. Reviewed in the United States on July 31, 2021 Bought this with my first. This has lasted through two kids that are now 4 and a little over one years old. Very durable. My husband is 6’1 and I’m 5’2. We got a regular square pillow and a lumbar pillow for height difference and comfort preferences. The pillows came in handy while nursing too. I’m so glad we went with this bigger model (rather than a smaller rocker) because it comes in handy now with two kids at reading time. Comfort: this is not a lazyboy. But I have slept in this couch through sleep training and sick nights. Hope this helps! You always feel like you’re being pushed forward. Hard to explain but it doesn’t allow you to rock at the correct angle. The swivel and glide make no noise and flow easily. Baby is not here yet but the recline and sit up are easy enough to maneuver especially since it has the pull on the inside of the seat cushion.
