Beaujolais Nouveau 2022, Domaine Bel Avenir Show
£12.00 Any 6 Mix REFUND OR REPLACE It’s that time again Le Beaujolais est Arrivé! Beaujolais Nouveau Day is always the third Thursday on November, the date this year is 17 November 2022. Glasses are raised across the world to mark the first and fastest wine of the 2022 harvest. If you purchase 6 bottles or more, we are holding the price at the 2020 price which is just £12 per bottle. This year we have partnered with Cecile and Alain Dardenelli from Domaine Bel Avenir in La Chapelle de Guinchay, 3km east of Chenas.
The grapes are harvested from vines planted on an array of different terroirs: siliceous clay (St Amour), granite (Chenas) and limestone. The couple own vineyards in the Beaujolais-Villages plain as well as in the Crus of Juliénas, Chénas, St Amour and Fleurie. Tasting the grapes on vine just before harvest suggested a good balance, but let’s face it, Nouveau is all about quaffing, celebration of the harvest and fun! For all customers buying Nouveau this year there will be an online tasting at 6.30pm on 17 November 2022. Join Pip and Dan to share this first taste of the 2022 vintage.
