About UsFor Bob Moore, it all started with a kernel of truth—a wheat kernel, that is. Back in the 1960s, Bob’s wife, Charlee, decided that she would feed her family nutritious whole grains, starting with an incredible loaf of whole wheat bread fresh from the oven. Bob and Charlee met on a blind date in 1952. It was Charlee who first inspired the couple’s whole grain adventure when she decided to create a life for her family by feeding them wholesome, natural foods and whole grains. Charlee was a fixture in the original Bob’s Red Mill store and took on many roles in the early days, including packaging products by hand. I do not want a return. I just think the headline description should be accurate enough to make the appropriate sale. please fix this. Of course I was disappointed with the amount being that it said "6- 48oz bags of yeast."
-and it was only 1- 8oz bag. lol Reviewed in the United States on October 2, 2022 This was purchased in bulk so my family could have enough yeast to last through the year so we could make gluten free baked goods. I could not understand why my dough was not rising. We ordered this in the end of March with an expiration date of the beginning of March. I am so disappointed. This has been consistent and reliable for me. It doesn't seem quite as active as some yeasts, so I usually end up using more than recipes call for in order to get as much of a rise as I want within the time I have. But with that said, it's consistent in that behavior so easy enough to plan around. Reviewed in the United States on February 20, 2021 Good product for baking bread.
