Does it Work?

     I’m glad to tell you that Ortho’s Bug B Gon works wonders. Sure, a few reviewers complain about it not being effective, but considering the other 90% of people who love the product, I’m willing to bet on Ortho.

     While it’s not natural like Eco Defense’s spray, it keeps your lawn/garden healthy while offering high-end protection—all for $11.49.

     If you’re looking to cover an area bigger than 5,300 square feet, this isn’t the product for you. If you’re not, I—and many others—recommend it.

     While it’s not the cheapest spray around, I think Ortho priced this fairly. $11.49 is a drop in the bucket compared to the sanity you’ll regain once the mosquitoes start leaving you alone. Overall, I think the price is great.

Ease of Use = 9/10

    While using bug spray requires more work than a simple handheld repellent does, Ortho mixes the solution for you and gives you the pump; all you need to do is hook it up to your hose and spray. Nothing much to say here except it’s pretty simple and only needs to be reapplied when necessary.

Safety = 9/10

     Despite not using natural ingredients, Ortho created a bug spray that’s simultaneously healthy for the environment and you/your family/your pets. However, you need to be careful about your pets getting near your lawn or garden before the spray dries.
