I haven't been able to connect to the servers at all in two days. I honestly don't know what the issue is but I keep getting the 4b538e50 error. I've uninstalled and reinstalled and that didn't work. Any suggestions for a fix would be greatly appreciated!

Edit: so as of Aug. 30 I can finally connect to the servers again! I disconnected my Xbox account from my 2k account which didn't work immediately but is working now!

NBA 2K20 servers are currently down for maintenance. Players are unable to access MYTEAM, MYCAREER, MYLEAGUE and more. Since the last update, many players are experiencing several issues when trying to play the game.

Out of those affected, some are experiencing login issues. Recently, an update was also released for players with various bug fixes. You can check NBA 2K20 server status, maintenance and downtime details here below.

NBA 2K20 Server Shutdown (January 1, 2022)

As all good things must come to an end, NBA 2K20‘s servers are discontinued as of December 31, 2021. 

Players are no longer able to play ranked or online league games. Accordingly, any mode that earns or uses VC will be affected, along with any other online function (such as the MyTEAM mode and online matches against other players).

As of January 1st, 2022 this game will no longer be available for purchase. Players who already own it will still be able to redownload and play offline modes, of course.
