Pros: "The entertainment"

Cons: "Departure times"

Pros: "The crew was amazing"

Cons: "Other travellers where rude"

Cons: "Just hate the super smaller seats and the reduced spaces everywhere"

Cons: "The delay was totally unexpected and frustrating particularly when no bad weather around!"

Pros: "Plane was clean & modern"

Cons: "More leg room"

Pros: "Pilot explained the flight path and landmarks along the way. Crew was friendly to us and welcomed our baby onboard before many other pax boarded."

Cons: "Seats were narrow and I’m not a big guy. 6’0”. 185."

Pros: "The crew was great."

Cons: "The flight and crew were great. But I was not able to choose my seat because I purchased an economy flight. I was very uncomfortable. But I was luck that that people that were sitting with me were great."

Pros: "The crew was amazing. My seat was comfortable."

Cons: "The plane was delayed. It arrived over 25 minutes after it was originally scheduled to."

Pros: "They got me an air sick bag since there were none in the pockets. Bathroom was very clean. Chair had bendy headrests. Didn’t have to check my bag."

Cons: "Very turbulent, seat did not stay reclined. On a redeye flight, this was the key misery-maker. Seat in front was reclined so no possible position to sleep from the middle seat, even for a short person."

Cons: "Flight was delayed due to crew not being available."

Pros: "In flight service was fast and well organized. The dinner was very good. Flight was turbulent free and no isues."

Cons: "The plane was at the gate but it took over an hour for international inspection and a long time for the plane to be cleaned."

Pros: "While biased since I was in First class, everything was enjoyable and as expected of a first class experience. The free Wi-Fi on this flight made it extra special- can’t wait until its standard on all flights!!"

Cons: "Only real complaint is that Delta doesn’t seem to restrict size of bags taken as carry on and the time wasted but some trying to squeeze their obviously oversized bags into overhead compartments is painful."

Cons: "Passengers should have the option to ask for additional snacks."

Pros: "Seats were comfortable but crowded. Was nice to have the built in screen for entertainment."

Cons: "Did not like being bumped to a flight with a five hour layover in SLC. Travel day was already very long. We booked the flight originally based on the shorter layover of an hour and a half. Seemed very inconsiderate."

Pros: "Crew was great"

Cons: "Hot in the plane and the landing was uncomfortable"

Cons: "Seats did NOT recline, which seems to be a pretty poor planning for a red eye flight."

Pros: "great trip and crew"

Pros: "The pilot, Mr. Howes, I believe, came out and personally thanked everyone for flying Delta. It was a nice touch to see the actual pilot that was flying and me home and that he shared his gratitude. Go DELTA!!"

Pros: "Being in First Class"

Cons: "Heavier food selection would be appreciated."

Pros: "Flight was quiet and comfortable."

Cons: "Felt claustrophobic after a while because guy in seat next to me was rather large and spilling into my seat"

Cons: "we began the boarding process late, which can be understandable, although the plane was there pretty early. Once the boarding began, someone, I presume the gate agent, essentially gave a countdown to hhow many minutes were left until the flight could have an "on time departure". I travel nearly every week so I value being on time. However, a minute by minute call to hurry up on a flight that was sold out was over the top. There was mumbling among the passengers, to the point of someone joking "Free cookies and water if we make it on time?" Just a bad gate experience, but bad enough that peopoe were commenting, and I waited for someone from the cockpit to del\part so I could mention it to them."

Pros: "Delta worked with us on rebooking a flight after we messed up. Onboard the staff was incredibly friendly and the free snack selection was decent (even gluten free treats). Boarding was an orderly process."

Pros: "Early arrival!"

Cons: "Didn’t know that I didn’t have a window on the row I was on"

Cons: "When the passenger in front reclines their seat it was in my face The legroom wasn’t terrible but I had a hard time even reading since it was so close"

Pros: "I always enjoy my flights on Delta the staff members are always pleasant and helpful, not to mention a smooth flight. :)"

Pros: "Crew were good, flight on time, free drinks"

Cons: "Nothing"

Pros: "Typical flight, all went well. Special services picked me up at the plane."

Pros: "Friendliness of the staff"

Cons: "No complaints. I wish that the updates on the flight delay were a little clearer, but that's about it."

Pros: "Everything went wonderful. Excellent crew"

Cons: "No problems"

Pros: "Getting to the correct destination."

Cons: "The fact that the lack of knowledge regarding international travel visas by the counter staff and supervisor meant that two days of the vacation were lost. Upon arrival in China the 144 hour travel visa was granted with no problem within minutes, but the U.S. staff was completely befuddled by the possibility. The interrogation was completely stressful and resulted in a reschedule of the original flight and during the second attempt at flying even an email from the U.S. consulate with a link to the Shanghai/Chinese government immigration site was deemed "not official enough". i will be expecting proper compensation. I was once given an $850 travel voucher for voluntarily giving up my seat, and was flown first class to Hawaii, given 4 star accomodation and then flown first class on to China within 48 hours. This was an involuntary bump from our chosen flight time, all because of a lack of knowledge about current visa regulations and international law on the part of the check in staff. We have been loyal Delta users for over 15 years, and this was the biggest blunder ever. Also humiliating and extremely frustrating, stressful and a big problem with fulfilling our travel plans between son and father."

Pros: "Crew"

Cons: "Seating has gotten WAY too tight. Will not do that again ... discomfort, inability to even stretch a little bit caused painful nerve flare?"

Pros: "Crew was wonderful"

Cons: "Nothing- good flight, I couldn't sleep but that wasn't your fault"

Pros: "Everything went smoothly boarding etc."

Cons: "Because of packed flight many of us had to check our luggage. Not horrible, but slightly annoying. As well as taking a long time to de-plane."

Pros: "The long delay could of been avoided if the Delta counter had lied to me by saying I wouldn't have a problem changing my flight out early once I got into NYC from China Not a happy Delta customer There were delays and no compensation"

Pros: "Delta Comfort seats"

Cons: "Delta employee who drive shuttle to connection stopped to drop off a passenger and proceed to chat w other workers thereby getting me to my gate late and missing my connection and getting me to Florida almost 3 hours later than planned. Agents at desk in JFK were rude. There was another Delta employee also on the shuttle who was the only one who seemed to show concern. He alerted the driver, called the boarding gate and led me to it."

Pros: "Delta has a good business product. The entertainment system was good. The food was good."

Cons: "The business class crew struck me as distracted and putout to be there."

Pros: "Boarding time and schedules were as expected or faster and other than the food incident, good attention from the flight crew."

Cons: "No choice during for lunch since the flight crew didn't have enough meals to cover the preferences of the first class travelers."

Cons: "Snacks if possible"

Cons: "I chose my seats when I purchased tickets thru Expedia. Then for some reason Delta wouldn't allow me to keep my seats and I had to have them assigned at boarding. Why? What causes this? I was stuck in the back of the small jet from Minneapolis to Cwa when there were a few open seats in the middle. Disappointed. I won't be choosing Delta in the future!"

Pros: "Long flight but smooth despite delays"

Cons: "Delayed by 2.5 hours."

Pros: "Many passengers did not have seat assignments and we also ran out of over head storage resulting in many additional bags to be checked at the gate(mine included) but the crew and staff at the desk inside laguardia work quickly and efficiently to get everyone boarded and we ended up landing 15 minutes early."

Cons: "Seating was extremely cramped and the in flight wifi quality was poor, couldn't even watch an hour long movie (on a 2+ hour flight) because of the amount of buffering."

Pros: "When flying using the big carriers, Delta is becoming our go to airline for timeliness and comfort."

Cons: "Would be good to know I need to download an app on my phone before the flight in order to access the entertainment"

Pros: "Crew on both our flights were very nice and accommodating."

Cons: "United really seems to have issues with their planes. Problems on Wednesday then again today. On Wednesday we boarded late and pushed people’s flights back because the cleaners didn’t show up at boarding time and at landing time we had to go back up when the prior flight was still on the runway."

Cons: "Lol, it's United. What do you expect?"

Pros: "The crew was kind and entertaining and super helpful"

Pros: "Good crew, great landing, short flight"

Cons: "The seats are crampy"

Pros: "Smooth boarding process."

Cons: "The WiFi wasn’t working."

Cons: "Our flight was changed 6 times and then cancelled- we had to sleep in the airport"

Cons: "No entertainment for a 6 hour flight. Only served pretzels for food. Most of the crew was fine but one flight attendant was very rude, pushy, and condescending. Literally pushing me out of the way as I’m trying to board, yelling across the plane, rude comments over the speaker... honestly surprised such a large airline would tolerate this."

Pros: "Bought a ticket through a discount site. Since I'm a senior I really didn't realize certain things. Didn't realize my TSA wasn't accepted with this ticket, also I'm was in group 5 & always in middle seat. First time I flew on United. I bought the same type of ticket for a flight in April very unhappy about my mistake. I used Skiplagged."

Cons: "The crew was very helpful & pleasant."

Pros: "Plenty of leg space and crew was friendly"

Cons: "Got stuck in the San Francisco airport and was promised a hotel room for the night when I departed Portland. When I arrived at SFO I was told sorry you have to just stay in the airport My next flight wasn’t until the next morning Shitty customer service"

Pros: "The agent in San Francisco was awesome and even went out of her way to bump me to a better seat. Leaving Portland was easy, crew were super organized!"

Cons: "No entertainment systems were working at all. Leaving San Francisco to kahului we had so many unruly young adults that were just out if control. They kept switching seats, spilling alcohol all over me and my stuff and the flight crew could not care less. We even had an older Asian flight attendant on flight 1749 that was just overwhelmed for the job. She would hand the person on the isle a handful of pretzels and say 'here, pass these out'. The other flight crew members made it worse by treating her poorly. You could tell they didn't like her and were agitated by her. Instead if being polite and educating, they were exasperated and impatient. Overall was super disappointed. I have flown United so many times back home to Maui and was always so please and excited to brag about how great United was. Not this time. Thanks for reading."

Cons: "Are the seats getting smaller??? And no leg room."

Pros: "It was an ok flight i guess but there was no good free in flight entertainment."

Pros: "Friendly efficient staff with good service and comfortable jet."

Cons: "Armrests didn't go up in our row only, would have been nice to know. Waffle snacks taste good but are very crumbly and make a mess, there were other options for $$. Stating "free wifi" is misleading as you have to pay for internet access."

Cons: "Both flights were late, seriously late."

Pros: "The crew in air Canada is awesome! They were really great and friendly. I'm impressed with their impeccable service even if it was a short flight to Vancouver."

Cons: "Flight was delayed."

Cons: "Plane departed 2 hrs late, taxied 40 min in San Fransisco for lack of access to gate"

Pros: "the price of the flight was the best part of the deal"

Cons: "have to pay for movies, and no good selection of snacks on flight."

Cons: "Terrible uncaring old waitresses overweight, no room for luggage no room for even walk in the plane, kept asking to turn off devices when it is well known devices don't cause any problem. No free internet. Old tired planes, terrible third world airline."

Pros: "The flight crew and the cabin crew were professional and efficient and friendly. The ginger ale kept me from getting nauseous during the turbulent approach."

Cons: "I realize that the airline doesn't have much control over screaming babies, but the reality is, my flight experience was significantly worse because of one, a couple rows back, who kept screaming at the top of their voice for most of the flight. While everyone was seating themselves, my fellow rowmates asked me to exchange my window seat for an aisle seat, so that grandmother, mother, and daughter could sit together. That put me two rows closer to that screaming baby. I came prepared to watch a movie with my phone and new noise canceling headphones, and then discovered the United Wi-Fi didn't offer movies on that flight, the same aircraft type and route as when I was able to watch a movie that way, earlier this year. I didn't find a way to connect my Bluetooth headphones to the plane's entertainment system, and I'm also disappointed in myself, to have to say, it took me far too long, to figure out that I needed to interact with the screen in front of me, through the control pad under my elbow on the armrest. By that time, there wasn't enough time left in the flight, to start a movie. So, I just played music stored on my phone, which helped mask the baby screams."

Cons: "No communication when extreme turbulence was happening. I thought i was dying, i cried as well as the person in my section. The lady behind me appeared to be praying."

Pros: "The price"

Cons: "The leg room & the service"

Cons: "Paying $25 to check a bag each way just to be able to do early check in on the app. I only had a carry on. Total scam. Shady AF. Also the United entertainment in the app does not work with Bluetooth headphones on an iPhone."

Cons: "Neither my fiancée nor I were particularly fond of the inflight sauna. I had try dry my sweat soaked shirt in the bathroom while waiting to make my connection. If the flight had been any longer I would have opened the door to let a breeze in."

Pros: "On time departure and arrival"

Cons: "That you charge to watch the entertainment."

Pros: "I boooked through Kayak based on recommendations fron Rick Steves. When I tried to check in the night before, I was told I wasn't on the flights I had booked. Turns out SAS had switched me to a later flight without any notice. It took hours on the night I was readying yo leave for a three-week trip to find out what had happened. At best, I would have found out the next day at the airport and waited an extra three hours. Not the big fun! At worst, who knows? Would someone have been able to figure it out in time? Huge run-around!"

Cons: "See above. Also no vegetarian meal offerings."

Cons: "We had to check our hand luggage and be charged EUR120.00 We should have been aware of this before we obtained the boarding pass..."

Pros: "The plane was new and clean"

Cons: "The new seats where not very comfortable one crew member was very nice the other two were curt when dealing with the passengers or moving the cart up and down the isle."

Pros: "The sunrise"

Cons: "I was on the wrong side of the plane!"

Pros: "Liked that we landed safely and I was treated like a human being not just a seat but the accommodation s were a little under what I expected"

Pros: "Everything went well, from boarding quickly to landing ahead of schedule."

Cons: "A mother with 2 fussy babies somehow sat next to me and they were extremely bothersome. Nothing was done to accommodate the crying babies, and we all know how annoying that is."

Pros: "Timing"

Cons: "Seats. Not comfortable at all for long flights."

Cons: "My seat was given away and had to rebook on another flight and another airline"

Pros: "The staff were normal and no complaints."

Cons: "I had to share my seat with the man next to me who continually had his arm and leg in my seat area. It's unfair and obnoxious to pay the same money as somebody else who then takes your already small space. I am not a large person (140lb, 5'7") and I could barely move my arms without bumping one of the people next to me. There's no reason that we should have such limited space."

Pros: "Entertainment selection was good"

Cons: "Seating comfort was *horrible*! Looks like they've made the seats more cramped, especially when the seats recline"

Cons: "First when seated there was no room for even my purse in the overhead storage. I had to hold everything in my lap. My ticket seats were separated when I was sure I booked the seats together. The blanket given to my seat was in package but was used and very vile smelling. The flight attendant was very rude, had an attitude when I asked for a drink after I wasn't offered one. When landing and I was asleep, flight attendant hit my head to wake me up to adjust my seat to the correct position rather then in a polite way. Also luggage was not with the rest of the planes luggage and on a differnt carousel. I travel often and are use to glitches, but when cleanliness and attitude come into the picture those are things that can be controlled. I wish to no longer travel with United again."

Pros: "No one smiled or looked like they were happy with a plane full of vacationers"

Pros: "Never got there"

Cons: "Never got there"

Cons: "Flight was delayed by over 5 hours with very short notice. With the exception of a $10 food voucher for restaurants that were closed, United did nothing to try to make it right."

Pros: "The agent handling boarding was very helpful and friendly. The pilot did a great job getting us to SFO safely and smoothly."

Cons: "I was disapponted there was no back-of-the-seat screen for in-flight entertainment."

Pros: "Nothing, please..."

Cons: "I had a connection flight to San Francisco and then from there to Honolulu and the flight from Portland to SF got delayed 5 times to up to 4 hours late so I would've missed my second flight from SF to HNL. They couldn't do anything about it so they put me on the next available flight, the next MORNING. So I had to go spend a night in a hotel which I had to pay for and wait for the next flight in the morning the next day. Next day the flight got delayed yet again this time little over 2 hours. So I would've missed the flight from San Francisco do Honolulu yet again. This time they managed to find a little later flight and put me on that but still had to wait at the airports for over 8 hours. Super mad about how United works... Had problems with my boss as well because I was supposed to work the next day but they rescheduled my flight for that day. Really not a pleasant experience..."

Pros: "The seating was very good. We "accidentally" were issued seats in bulkhead which gave us plenty of unexpected leg room. Thank you!"

Pros: "Was a nice trip"

Cons: "All was good"

Pros: "The flight attendants were great, the in cabin service was perfect, and the blanket provided was a sweet gift"

Cons: "N/A"

Cons: "Buying me a flight to my city since I was on time for the wedding I’m Missing"

Pros: "I was in row 2 and it had reclining seats."

Cons: "They did not have enough people to push wheelchairs at Mac Arthur airport. My husband had to push me & since we don’t know the airport we had to ask every step we went, they had no signs leading the way."

Pros: "There is a dispute going on about who cleans the planes and so the crew won’t help thereby placing the customer in the middle of the dispute. 45 minutes late because of this nonsense."

Cons: "Someone clean the damn plane and get the PAYING customers on their way."

Pros: "The crew was nice"

Cons: "My fiancé and I have both had awful experiences with Frontier. Both of us have had so many issues with our flights being delayed with no real explanation, apology, or compensation for our inconvenience. This most recent time I was supposed to get to my destination by 8 am and didn’t end up getting in until after 6 pm. The time before I was delayed for 12 hours before they finally decided to cancel the flight. You REALLY cannot expect anything. It’s a cheap flight and absolutely nothing more. You also get charged for every tiny little thing- including your carry on. My fiancé and I have never completely written off an entire company before but we will truly never fly Frontier again. I’d rather pay double the price to fly with a different airline than save a couple dollars and fly with Frontier. Good riddance."

Cons: "Frontier customer service wouldn't print a boarding pass for me because of their 45-minute cutoff. I was there 40 minutes before the flight. That wasn't enough time for them. This was in the middle of the night (I arrived at 12:15 AM) when the airport was empty. There was no one in line at the TSA security checkpoint (I know: I looked). Forty minutes was more than enough time for me to get through security and walk to my gate. Very disappointed in Frontier."

Pros: "We were a little early, which was nice."

Cons: "The flight attendants spent most of the flight giggling at the front of the plane, and had to stop and restart several announcements after saying the wrong thing or having to take a break to stop laughing on the intercom. They also gave me a credit card pitch over the intercom, which was really annoying. The plane was pretty dirty, my tray was really gross with white stuff all over it, and the trash in the bathroom was overflowing, so I had to stuff my paper towel in there to get it to fit. I just wanted a cheap airline, but they split up your group unless you pay extra, and you have to pay for EVERYTHING, including any drinks or snacks. Bags were expensive. I ended up paying almost $700 on a flight that was supposed to be about $450. $21 each way per person to sit with eachother, like $50 for a single checked back each way, blah blah blah. Poor experience, and it was MORE expensive than the other flights with bags and seats included. The lines were also extremely long with only a single person at each stand in each airport."

Pros: "It left and arrived on time."

Cons: "To have to pay for carry on bags is ridiculous. Then to have to pay for seats that don’t even recline is unfortunate. Nothing about Frontier airline seems to be about customer service. Instead frontier is just out to make a buck by what seems to be “tricking the fliers”. Had I known I would have been paying an addition $200+ on our flights (from initial purchase price) when I checked in I would’ve just bought a more expensive flight with a more comfortable airline from the get go. I also didn’t receive an email to check in to the flight. I feel this is common practice so for it to not have happened was very disappointing."

Pros: "Cheap flight, quick boarding."

Cons: "Cramped accommodation, extra fees for luggage, no complimentary beverage service. I’d call it the Grey Hound of the air, except I recently took a Grey Hound and I was much more comfortable."

Cons: "It showed in my booking that I can carry a Carryon bag but had to oay ectra 50$ for the same as only a personal item was allowed. I found the service totally unsatisfactory. The website shouldn't make false claims if they cannot adhere to it. I will definitely avoid using this for my bookings again."

Pros: "The price was great and the crew was nice."

Cons: "No food, no entertainment, seats don't recline in an airbus A319 or A320 apparently."

Pros: "Boarding was ok, flight time was 2.5hrs, getting off the plane was usually slow - but as always, it's great to get off!"

Cons: "Nickle and dimed for any and everything. Seats are truly terrible - needed a chiropractor to fix the damages! Luggage policy is a joke. Used to be my favorite domestic - Frontier has really moved up to the top of the bottom of my list."

Pros: "Flights went fine."

Cons: "I will never choose to fly Frontier again. This was my first and last time. There is a fee for everything which makes the cost of flying with them significantly higher than quoted. I couldn't believe that you have to use a credit card to get a bottle of water or a small snack. If you don't check their website you can pay double to check in bags when you arrive. Not at all consumer friendly."

Pros: "Nothing at all"

Cons: "Thought I would take a gamble and fly this Airline again. Flew them to Denver almost 6 years ago and was impressed. On May 3rd I flew them to Denver from Portland. Might have been the Worest fight ever taken. Flight was delayed almost 4hours when all said and done. The seats felt like something out of Disneyland ride, and my table was the smallest thing i have ever seen. Surprised I wasn't charaged a fee to have air on the plane. On positive I can say was the airline bought me dinner after being stuck for 4hours. Beware..."

Pros: "Not one thing"

Cons: "My number one issue was the staff. Totally unhelpful and unaware of guests needs. You should not advertise frontier economy tickets to people over 6 feet tall and/or wider than a 14 year old."

Cons: "The staff was not helpful or informative. Our flight was delayed and the staff didn't say anything apologize or try make the wait any less stressful. I understand this type of thing happens but it would have nice to at least be greeted with a smile. Unfortunately one bad crew can and will impact our future decisions"

Pros: "Honestly I don't like anything at frontier airlines I got reservations throwing you guys to frontier and I got the price &180 which included all tex and fee and when I went there they are charged me $40 for my bag !!! And not the only reason I didn't like it the seat uncomfortable and very old and if I get free ticket from them I will don't travel with them again.. thanks"

Cons: "Yes they have the lowest fares. But, you pay anyway. The offer nothing! Carry on is more expensive than checked. $35 and $30 respectively. They don't even give you a 1/3 can of soda like other airlines do. Fly ALASKA. Free carry on and I'm pretty sure (not positive, but it seemed like) there's much more leg room for a standard ticket."

Cons: "The carry on price isn't included when you buy your ticket so i was hit with 55 dollars in bag fees both way. Not to mention the fact that we were delayed on the runway because the crew just didn't show up to the terminal, but baggage was also late to the terminal by over an hour. Everyone was also promised a flight voucher and i never got one. Beyond upset with this flight."

Pros: "Nothing. No one was at counter to check us in an hour before boaeding."

Cons: "Everything"

Cons: "There are hidden costs (checked and carry on bags plus reserving a seat) which make frontier not as affordable as they appear. The seats are very uncomfortable and now they have no real tray tables anymore (except in the first 3 rows--which you can pay extra for). Additionally, the checked luggage has taken up to 30 mins to arrive on multiple occasions. Frontier has become a terrible airlines that cares more about their bottom line rather than sustaining the customers who are responsible for their bottom line."

Cons: "They didn't transfer my baggage to my connecting flight even though I had an hour and a half layover. I had a meeting early the next morning and got in too late to go shopping. I ended up having to run around Target at 8 AM to buy an outfit for the day."

Cons: "Frontier cancelled my flight about a week out. The customer service reps I dealt with were slow and alothough they offered me a $100 voucher, they input my email wrong so they couldn't send it to me. When I tried to rectify this again at the airport with another customer service rep, they tried to send me the voucher by email but I never got it. I was told to call customer service again, but at this point I've spent over $100 in my own time in trying to get the voucher. I wouldn't want to have to fly frontier again anyway."

Pros: "I've flown on a lot of airlines and Frontier is the first one where I had no trouble with the seat belts. I had no trouble fastening them due to their size, which was nice. The seats themselves were also very roomy and comfortable."

Pros: "The view was nice."

Cons: "The seats were super uncomfortable, it felt like being trapped in a bucket seat. The flight was at 5:30am and a tiny cup of burnt coffee was $2, seriously? And then the teeny tiny little table was useless. It meant juggling anything I wanted to have out, and zero space to work. I got on the flight feeling okay, I got off in a bad mood and with no intention of flying Frontier again."

Cons: "It's ridiculous they charge for juice or soda when all other airlines its complimentary. The tray tables are the size of a 5x7 photo and the seats didn't recline. It was very uncomfortable and I don't plan on ever flying with Frontier again!! There was no entertainment so not sure why that question is even there."

Pros: "Nothing"

Cons: "I fly a lot, as in 185,000 miles in the last 12 mos. I booked my flight last minute because I had one meeting and didn't want to stay the night in Portland. I typically fly United and am very happy with them. When I checked times, United's didn't work but Frontier's outbound and return times allowed me to avoid staying the night. So I took the chance as I figured the liklihood of an issue would be less than the last 4x's I had flown the airline in the last 18 mos. I was wrong. We had a mechanical issue and had to swap planes. The problem is that Frontier only has 8 gates at DIA and any change causes a logistical disaster. After 3 hrs I decided to cancel my flight as I wouldn't make my meeting in Portland. Frontier refunded the outbound leg but REFUSED to refund the return leg as they claimed that leg was unaffected. Their reasoning was that I still could have taken the trip but by the time I arrived in Portland I would have literally have had to fly right back to Denver. Ok, that makes sense. So after 1 hr of haggling on the phone I was only able to get their customer service to issue a credit for the cost of the second leg. I will NEVER fly them again, so the credit is useless to me. Fly anyone else or take the bus, you'll actually be treated decently and get to where you're going."

Pros: "Sprained my ankle on an epic hiking trip at Cape Disappointment along the Washington coast. I was slightly worried about my travels through the airport with crutches and my luggage. Frontier pushed me through the airport to make sure I made it to my flight. After a sight bit of conversation with the airline, I was assigned a stretch seat to make sure my injury didn't cause me more pain than necessary. Frontier is always a solid choice."

Cons: "Took a slight bit work/negotiations to get me into a seat that could accommodate my injury."

Pros: "The flight and service were acceptable."

Cons: "Frontier imposes mandatory extra charges to choose your seat and to check your bag OR to carry it on. The extra charges amounted to $192 for two passengers. If you have to fly Frontier, be aware that the prices listed on the travel websites do not reflect the real cost."

Pros: "Nothing"

Cons: "Attitudes of Frontier employee in Portland , Frontier's flight delay for more than 2 hours caused to miss our connecting flight in Denver . We decided to cancel our flight with Frontier in Portland airports and book our flight to Indianapols with another carrier ."

Pros: "great price."

Cons: "When I arrived at the airport (pdx) I was informed immediately that I would be refunded. I knew before hand, via Google, that my flight would be delayed so I checked in at the counter to make sure I would be able to make my second flight from Denver to San Antonio, when I walked up to the counter, they asked for my name and then golf me I would need to be refunded. At this time, I tried to find out if they had another flight to San Antonio only to have the woman helping me ask "do you want me to refund the money or not? I'm about to press send." I'm sure that had the flight actually existed, I would be able to give a better review and I don't really want to mark down the crew for something, I imagine, was out of their control, but I can't give them any stars as my interaction with the staff was very limited to just the ticket counter. I will most likely NEVER fly with Frontier again based off of this experience."

Pros: "I enjoyed actually arriving at my destination."

Cons: "Boarding was delayed, they never hire enough staff, 1 hour delayed leaving and 2 hours coming back."

Pros: "When it was over"

Cons: "Even though the ticket is cheap, you have to pay outrageous prices for literally everything else. You have to pay to reserve a seat (any seat) otherwise they can separate your family on the plane. You have to pay for drinks (even water) no matter how long your flight. You don't get a free carry on bag and if you don't book the bag before you get to the airport it can cost you north of 45$ to check it. The accommodations themselves were not great. The chairs have no cushioning, don't recline, are so close together that I couldn't cross my legs, and the tray table is 4 inches wide and couldn't even hold my laptop. The flight attendants on both flights were extremely rude and ran into me with the drink cart twice. One of the flight attendants when asked if the AC would be turned on since the flight was pretty warm asked if the woman wasn't just having hot flashes. She was upset tingly abrasive. The flight was delayed on the Tarmac for over an hour because the team couldn't load the baggage on the flight. The flight team didn't give us any explanation of the delay beyond that, they didn't update is on the expected time delay and they never apologized for the delay. When we did finally get going the flight crew was very rude with asking people to sit back down. Worst of all was that after all of that they lost my luggage. Despite a 2 hour layover and 1 hour delay at the gate specifically because they weren't done loading the luggage Frontier couldn't manage to get my luggage from gate 42 to gate 44... The whole experience was awful. I would never fly with them again no matter how cheap the ticket."

Pros: "I liked the price and the assigned seats."

Cons: "I did not like the service, the seats / armrests, the overhead bins (way too high for a super short human like myself), and worst of all I hated the check in process. Where is my mobile boarding pass? I don't know. I will never know. Because once I checked in, I couldn't find it! Not great at all."

Pros: "It was safe"

Cons: "Initially scheduled for much earlier in the day and was moved later about a week ago the. Got delayed 2 hours in PDX today. them sitting after midnight on runway with no gate assigned"

Pros: "Nothing. Frontier is simply dismal. Don't make the mistake of ever flying with them."

Cons: "I had flown with Frontier previously, and so I didn't have initial qualms about booking a flight with them again. What I discovered is that in the past few years, Frontier was sold and the new owner has turned it into the worst airline on earth (literally ranked). Frontier's new game is to deceptively price their flights low so they are selected by people who book through 3rd party websites (we booked through Kayak). Around 35% of all flights are booked through 3rd party sites as of 2016. Then, once the flights are booked and are non-refundable, Frontier tells you during the check in process that you will have to pay through the nose for things that are free of charge on nearly every other airline in the world. For instance, we were told that unless we paid at least $16 per seat, my wife and I would be assigned random seats and would be unable to sit together. We were also told that it would cost us $40 for each CARRY-ON item we wanted to take on board with us. Yes, that is for carry-on items, not checked baggage, which they also charge you for. And the $40 mark is actually the internet discount, if you wait to check in at the airport, the price actually goes up to $60 per carry-on item. As would be expected, people don't like being deliberately deceived and fleeced like this, and they call customer service to complain. When I did this, the agent that I spoke to figured out quickly that I had a problem that would be moderately difficult to solve and simply hung up on me a minute or two into our conversation. This wasn't a fluke either, because when I called back, another agent did the same thing. I tried contacting them via twitter and got something similar. The agents simply stop responding to you when the realize the problem they might need to solve is more than moderately difficult. I would imagine that with the amount of complaints Frontier gets (highest in the industry by a wide margin), their reps are simply overworked and without hope. In fact, the only reason Frontier eventually responded to me was when I began reaching out to other disgruntled Frontier customers and suggesting that they could file complaints with the FAA. After 15 minutes of that, a somewhat senior customer service rep called me from Frontier's home office in Colorado and tried to explain to me why it was my fault for not reading the fine print and not assuming that an airline would deliberately try to deceive and then extort travelers. Ultimately, Frontier decided that they would refund our non-refundable tickets and we had a very pleasant experience flying on United. Even last minute, the tickets were only about $25 more apiece and we also were not charged $112 for the unheard of luxuries of sitting together and taking our carry-ons with us. So ultimately a huge savings. In my opinion, Kayak should remove Frontier and similar airlines (there are two-Spirit and Allegiant) from their search results as they are deliberately preying upon customers."

Pros: "The man sitting next to me."

Cons: "Over an hour late, no complimentary beverages or snacks, tiny tray, seat doesn't lean back."

Cons: "I will not fly Frontier ever again. Such a horrible experience. The cheap fares are not worth it. Not much leg room, bags are expensive to check and extra charges for carry ons, and charges for water. The staff did their best but I wonder if even staff hates that all the niceties of flying are stripped from Frontier. I'd rather walk from Portland to Minneapolis than fly on Frontier again."

Pros: "Safely from point A to B. Didn't have a POS terminal at the lavatory, which will likely be next."

Cons: "Loss leader fare, $35 per checked bag, $40 per carry on, but mostly having paid apparently only for the privilege of standing in the aisle, to have to pay extra (anywhere from $13 to $50 per seat assignment) to sit with my loved ones rather than just random seating. Seats so tight, that don't even lean back, felt like one of those chickens in the trucks on the freeway. Doing the math, this fare was actually more expensive than choosing an airline that actually serves human beings. As stated above, at least we didn't die, but at such levels of "economy" I was not confident that we would even survive the trip, thinking that the the pilots must be of the same quality. Please use a more honest business model, until then, we will not use you again."

Pros: "Newer seats, so I guess that could be counted as a plus for this trip."

Cons: "Ticket counter person in PDX was very rude. Our seats were 'upgraded' for a red eye flight, behind one screaming baby for 75% of the flight, and another next to us that constantly was kicking us. The male air flight attendant enjoyed to hear himself talk so much, that between him and the amplified screaming baby, sleep was not possible. I asked for water, but since that was the only free thing, they were out of it and the male flight attendant sound get me some of their was time before we landed....that was 25 minutes into a 3 and a half hour flight. In his defense, I did get my water just before the plane started its descent. And the last point, girlfriend's brand new suitcase was covered in him when we picked it from baggage claim. Instead of just refunding us the baggage fee, no, we now have a claim open for Up to $50 to get it cleaned. Spend the extra $100 for ease of mind and fly a real airline."

Cons: "i dont know why airlines dont board back to front it makes no sense."

Cons: "unexpected last minute fees , had to pay for my seat as well as a carry-on? I've never heard of that , so ridiculous. Had to spend an xtra $100 , not worth it."

Pros: "Not much. 2 hour delay."

Cons: "These new seats are disgusting!"

Pros: "The crew were nice enough"

Cons: "The entire process felt like a money trap. I got these tickets because it look like an affordable way to visit family, but every step of the journey had surprise fees, from selecting your seat, to checking luggage, and even having a carry-on bag. Literally every other airlines I've ever been on offers at least one complimentary drink and a bag of bad pretzels, but Frontier charges three dollars for a bag of bad pretzels and and two more dollars for a drink. When it turned out that I had to pay for the seat I just went and paid for one of the better ones and even those are massively uncomfortable-- there's slightly more legroom but even the "premium" seats have almost no padding, don't recline, and are uncomfortably narrow. Overall I won't be flying Frontier again."

Pros: "Super cheap flight ! Seats firm but comfortable."

Cons: "Nothing to read Seats don't recline No drinks unless you pay Delay first leg, luckily Frontier had a 4 hour layover on my trip When "checking in", it was confusing about paying for seats"

Pros: "The staff were very helpful and as accommodating as they could be, given we were stuck in the Denver airport for a day."

Cons: "I couldn't believe all of the extra fees they charged- If you have a bad past your purse, expect to pay 80 dollars extra, regardless of whether you check it or not. And expect to pay $40 extra if you want to sit together. I went in unaware of the extra fees- if you know that, you might not feel as cheated"

Pros: "Flight attendant tried to make the safety speech a little different and funny."

Cons: "Seats were pretty close together."

Cons: "I payed for a carry-on and a checked-in costing $85, but after I paid, the person at the counter said I didn't have to pay for the carry-on."

Pros: "Departed close to on time."

Cons: "First of all, at the ticket counter there was a LONG line because only one agent was working at the time. There should've been more staff considering it was the weekend after Christmas. Then, I did not like that they seemed to charge for everything - coffee, tea, soda and juice, most seats open required a fee during booking and even carry ons cost, which was not made clear up front when I purchased the ticket or I would NOT have booked with them. Knowing this would've caused me to rethink the ticket purchase in comparison to other airlines. I will not choose Frontier again on purpose! It's not worth it."

Pros: "Trenton airport was easy to fly out of even thought it was a dirty mess."

Cons: "I didn't like that AFTER I booked the flight ten I was told it would be extra for a seat!!!! And that whether it was carry on or a checked bag there would be an additional charge for that too. When I book a flight for 5 days I expect to have a seat and a bag included in my price. The plane was so turbulent the woman in front of me needed her oxygen mask. I will nene fly frontier again except on my rip off flight home bc I'm stuck now. Can't wait to pay for another seat and bag. F U Frontier."

Cons: "I had an issue with their policy on face masks. I came wearing one, but was told that my mask was not allowed because it had some sort of filter/valve on it. Now I do understand the theory behind not allowing masks with valves, because they are supposed to let moisture out. But there are two layers of material that stood between my face and the filter/valve of my mask. Besides for an N95, I have not seen a mask where there was no material blocking the inner side of the filter/valve. I could have simply ripped the filter/valve off the mask and there wouldn't have been an issue, because my mask would still have no holes, and would be a complete face covering. The implication I got from this experience was that material itself does nothing to keep particulates from passing through, which means that we are all wearing masks as a placebo to keep people from panicking."

Pros: "None"

Cons: "couple of issues: #1.Spirit Website and Mobile apps keep crashing and several of us who booked your airlines were not able to utilize mobile boarding passes. In the age of mobility this User Experience (UX Design) should be a priority. #2. When we were trying to leave Costa Rica again we had issues with your Bar Code Scanners. We were able to download on our phone but when we go to customs after waiting in long lines we were told that they were not accepting Spirit airlines bar codes. You were the only airlines with long lines. Not even the kiosk was able to print boarding passes so we had to wait in long lines just to get a print out from the service desk."

Cons: "This company is a scam. You pay a extra fee for everything Printing your boarding pass that will be $10. oh wait you want to take a carry on bag that will be $45. You want to check in a bag that will be $45. If you do decide to check in a bag or a carry on make sure the demensions and weight is correct there will be another fee for any luggage that doesn’t fit their rules. Make sure you get a drink in the airport ahead of time because once again they charge for standard drinks while on the plane, the extra charges just never stop! In all reality it is not worth the savings in plane ticket because of all the additional inflated prices they get you on."

Pros: "They eventually got us there. staff were friendly."

Cons: "Online check-in - DID NOT WORK. Awaited the email, but never came. At the airport - kiosk didn't work. Got an attendant - flight had started boarding 5-10m before getting the agent / *their* policy is no boarding passes after that -- even though hours earlier the online check-in was done. They charged for the baggage, so parts took. Reality seems to be that flight was oversold. Upon rebook at next flight - that one was delayed due to awaiting inbound flight attendant. They know this stuff hours ahead of time, but never say."

Pros: "I don't like nothing !!!!"

Cons: "1. First time I use them ... and first time I use kayak .. and it will be the last time . 2. Spirit got worse customer service. 3 the want to charge extras for every little thing . 4. The plain are terrible. 5. The food terrible. 6. Worse experience with the flight attendance ( they don't care about people ) 7 . The coming back flight... ( UNFORTUALLY MY FATHER GOT A HEART ATTACK SO I TRY YO CHANGE THE FLIGHT WITHOUT ANY EXTRA CHARGES ... AND AFTER I SENT THEM ALL THE MEDICAL PROVES AND RECORDS SHOWING THAT MY DAD HAD A HEART ATTACK... AND THAT I HAD TO POUSPONE THR DATE ... THEY DIDNT CARE AND THEY DIDNT APPROVE THR REFOUND OR ATLEAT A CREDIT .. SO FOR SURE I WILL REPORT THIS WITH THE BBB .. GOOGLE AND ALL SOCIAL MEDIA ... UNTIL I GET MY MONEY BACK Joselina cabrera"

Pros: "No me gusto nada..."

Pros: "Nothing"

Cons: "At least 12 delay changes due to mechanical failure. Original departure was around 3pm on Sunday then it changed to 830pm, past midnight then 1 pm Monday. The gate staff was not trained to deal with customer service disputes. We were poorly informed about statuses. A food voucher was given to us minutes before any restaurant closed so I couldn't use it. I ended up booking another flight with another carrier. When the after midnight delay notification was rendered, I called the outsourced customer service and received no recourse for my inconvenience. Not even a comp checked bag. I was given two $50 vouchers but I don't plan to ever use them again. I'd rather have my refund plus the difference for the other flight and rental car I took just to get home. I also have lost wages."

Cons: "Some of The staff memebers were rude. Had to go through like four different check points for luggage, delays boarding and not very effective. One staff memeber checks your name, another one asks to attach name tag to luggage, another one has a questionnaire for suitcase asking for items in it, this is all before even checking in!! At the gate before boarding there's another huge line because again one staff memeber checks for boarding pass, another checks passport, another one goes through bags and then check in to board plane. Have to buy any food you want to consume, not even water for free."

Pros: "Flight was early, plane was clean. Flight was uneventful"

Cons: "They charge ridiculous prices for luggage, even carry ons. Paid $42 each way for one checked bag. Food and drink are not free. Water was broken on plane in washroom. They try to get you to pay for a seat, otherwise you may not sit with your family. Only allow 40lbs in checked luggage, but you can bring as much weight as you want in personal or carry on. 41+ lbs costs an extra $30. They nickel and dime you for everything even $10 to print boarding pass. Initial price on Kayak was lower than everyone else, but with all the add ons turned out to be much more expensive. Not allowed to bring tennis racquets on board, have to check them. Jet Blue allows them to be carried on board. Will NEVER fly this airline again."

Pros: "Rubbish"

Cons: "Everything"

Pros: "Needless to say, price was a plus. Comparable prices on JetBlue and Avianca on the same CTG to FLL flights were US$300-$400 more at the time of booking. Arrived just in time at the airport for the cutoff provided in the online check-in paperwork and the line was full with all the other passengers for that flight there being processed. I thought surely it would be a long wait and soon the flight would be closed, but we actually moved very swiftly as they had 3 agents tending to the counter. They were all courteous and quick. At the gate, an announcement was made that the flight was overbooked and they offered a couple of volunteers a $500 credit towards Spirit flights as well as being re-booked for next days flight. Once on board, the three flight attendants were also courteous. WI was assigned seat 2F on their A320 v1. Best seat by far I've had assigned without paying for reserving one with Spirit. While it did not recline, I did not find the standard angle detrimental and I had TONS of legroom even when the upgraded row 1 seats ahead were reclined. The flight itself was smooth and quick. We left right on schedule to the T, and parked at our gate about 15 minutes ahead of schedule. Being one of the first out allowed me to zip through immigration without any waits and was out of the airport before our scheduled arrival time! For sure God was blessing me this day. But could it also be that Spirit's new CEO is really turning things around? Lets wait and see how the return flight goes. Stay tuned... AF."

Cons: "One of the gate attendants was a bit on the rude side, screaming and demanding that all passengers get in one line or we would not board... even after I explained that her co-worker did not call to board by zone. He had explained the boarding process, but failed to start calling by zone. He at least used the proper equipment (microphone & overhead system). But this young lady was screaming... seriously? They could've avoided by: 1. Following protocol, and 2. Being consistent in using the designated communication equipment. Additional training is needed here for sure."

Pros: "Flight was non stop"

Cons: "All the additional charges for carry on and paying for my selected seat. Will not fly this airline again. by the time I paid all the added $174 of cost it was the same price as any other airline. The epic logistic failure at Ft Lauderdale. I got to the airport 2 plus hours early and still barely made my flight in time. I wanted to get something to eat but I couldn't because I had to wait in two lines to get my boarding pass, because the Kiosk would not print my ticket. In addtion to Spirit overloading TSA in their terminal. My worst flying experience ever, and I fly a lot!"

Cons: "After I spoke with another individual he understood what had happened with maintenance on the front end of MSP and that I would've made my FTL flight to SJO had the flight left at 6am like it should've not 3pm. He said nervously that he'd have to talk w/ the supervisor again, where she came back & tried to fight about weather issues from BOS to FTL..but she didn't take a second to understand that I was delayed from maintenance in MSP which didn't allow me to leave til 3pm vs 6 am. If i had made my MSP flight at 6am, I would've made my flight in BOS at 2:45 and therefore caught my FTL to SJO flight at 11pm. He then talked her through it once again, and she gave me a voucher very begrudgingly. Wrong person to have in this sort of position there. I didn't catch her name, but she was a very unprofessional supervisor working the late night shift at 11pm in FTL at spirit ticketing desk."

Cons: "When we flew in from Montego Bay to Fort Lauderdale and we had to go through customs; no flight member told us that we had to get our bags from baggage to take through customs with us and then if you had a connecting flight, that you would need to re-check your baggage and go through TSA again. Also, we were not informed that if we had duty-free liquids to put them in your baggage that you would have to re-check. Needless to say, I had to find a box to put my duty-free liquids in to have checked at the ticket counter before I was able to go through TSA. It was a terrible flying experience and I will not be flying with Spirit airlines again."

Pros: "I liked that the wing said Howdy."

Cons: "Spirit is the absolute WORST airline on the market. The seats are so tiny, the airline attendants were incredibly rude. My flight home was canceled after they made us wait on the airplane for over 3 hours. They did not tell us what had happened or give us any kind of update during the time period. The flight was canceled and they were extremely unhelpful. I ended up purchasing a ticket through JetBlue to get home finally. I will NEVER fly Spirit again. You should be ashamed to work for this company."

Pros: "NOTHING"

Cons: "Flight was at 6:30 I arrived at 5:00 and was waiting on line to check in and told me it was to late- even though I was on time ! I missed my cousins wedding and had to pay a fee of $100 just to jump on the next flight! I wasn't the only person either there was 7 more SPIRIT CUSTOMERS with the same issue- it seem like they were over booked and didn't care ! On top of that my small carryon bag was 100$ for round trip- that's insane! Spirit check in worker we're so rude and nasty and didn't care about their customers! Spirit airlines should be shut down- they steal and play with there customers! I DESERVE MY MONEY BACK OR THE FEE WAVED BECAUSE THIS WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER ! My number is 6317454033 klyn thank you"

Pros: "Efficient boarding is the only good thing I can say."

Cons: "The crew was nice but pushy. On both flights they kept focusing on people's bags under their chairs with unnecessary persistence. Since Spirit doesn't really offer anything at all they just stood at the front of the plane after flying through with the cart that only offered something you have to pay for. Then at the end, annoyed everyone trying to sell them the credit card. Both flights were over an hour delayed due to missing mechanic paperwork. The flight was not cheaper then other flights but matched up to the times I needed - (After the delays, not really) and so I booked. Totally forgot I was going to get charged an outrageous amount for my carry-on. This airline is a crock. AVOID."

Cons: "When we arrived to check in, we were immediately told we would not be making our connection, we would be staying in Florida for the night and there was absolutely no other solutions to be discussed and pushed to the side. When I tried to speak with the woman at the counter inside at the gate, she continued to talk on her cell phone, telling me "no, I do nothing for you." I finally said we need to figure out a way to negotiate something, can we please see if any other flights are available that would put us closer to South Carolina. After she reluctantly hung up her cell phone, she searched and said she had a flight to Atlanta but we would be "stuck" there on our own with no luggage and she couldn't do anything about that either. I said I would drive from Atlanta to South Carolina as I absolutely needed to be back the following morning. She said she would make the switch but whatever else happens is on us and not to call her again. She said we would have to retrieve our luggage in South Carolina the following afternoon as she couldn't get our luggage to the Atlanta plane so "don't even ask." I kindly asked her to put my luggage through to our first stop, Florida, we would handle it ourselves. We arrived in Florida, ran to baggage, collected our bags and had them transferred to the Atlanta plane, and ran back through security to make our flight. I can completely understand weather being an issue that calls for no reimbursement, however, the absolutely rudeness and lack of social skills and empathy of the spirit team was disheartening. We will not even attempt to spend money our money with spirit and see if we have a better outcome next time. I will not be recommending this airline and asked my friends to choose another airline for their trip so they would not be treated the same way."

Cons: "I was in Haiti flying back to Ft Lauderdale, arrive at the airport early, check in, go through security, have a seat to then find out my flight was delayed. Annoying but not the end of the world. A few minutes go by and an airport staff (not even a Spirit staff) comes over and says an announcement is being made and we need to go to the ticket counter. Get to the ticket counter and find out our flight is cancelled and there won't be another Spirit flight out of Haiti for two days!!! No effort was made to get us on a different airline, to refund our money instantly, to offer comps, not even to be empathetic. We all had to rush to other airlines and buy different flights home which cost an exorbitant amount. But the only other option was to stay stranded and homeless in Haiti. When I called Spirit later on that day, during a long layover, they gave me a hard time about refunding my money. It's been a week later and I still have not received all my money back. Never ever ever again will I fly Spirit."

Pros: "I didn't get o to this flight at all. Staff were very friendly, but completely overwhelmed and inexperienced. They were told to tell us that we had to switch flights because we wouldn't make the connecting flight, but in fact it was because the flight was overbooked. They said I'd get a hotel and then I had to take a taxi to the hotel where there was no room - as the hotel and had already informed the Spirit airlines staff. By the time I returned to the airport for a new hotel voucher it was 3am - and I'd been at the airport since 12am. Mostly it was also crazy to see the situations of other passengers with that airline. The staff were nice, but I wouldn't even feel safe flying with spirit again, much less like I'd be well served."

Pros: "none"

Cons: "ONLY ONE CARRY ON PERMITTED, THAT IS NOT EVEN A CARRY ON, IT IS A 'PERSONAL BAG' THAT YOU CAN'T EVEN FIT A PAIR OF PANTS IN IT!!! I FELT ROBBED, TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF. MY LUGGAGE WAS MORE EXPENSIVE THAN MY FLIHTG TICKET, I MEAN I HAD TO PAY TWICE FOR CARRYING A PAIR OF PANTS AND A LAPTOP. I WILL MAKE SURE, NOT TO RECOMMEND SPIRIT AIRLINE TO ANY OF THE PEOPLE I KNOW AND THEY KNOW. I FELT INSPIRED BY THIS HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE TO CREATE A BLOG JUST TO PRVENT OTHER USERS FROM THE LACK OF INFORMATION REGARDING THIS COMPANY. In addition to that, in my three hours flight I had to pay for WATER and the seats were stock (meaning that none of the seats were adjustable)."

Pros: "Unlike on my prior Spirit attempt at least I got to my destination this time"

Cons: "Most uncomfortable seats for a red-eye flight. How can Southwest get me from FLL to LAS with $8 WiFi and snacks and food and drinks and free luggage for less money then the "UN-BUNDLEr" with none of these amenities and have the chutzpah to offer/charge $5 speedy security fee when their own ticketing agent says "I've never seen this before, I've no idea what this is" and Airport's TSA agents have no idea what that is and there is no separate line for this "service" and it's just a way for Spirit to get extra $5 out a traveler who is concerned of long security lines - SHAMEFULL!"

Pros: "There was no one at the agent desk during the boarding time and that's when we all started to look up the status of the flights. Finally someon showed up but was unsure about the delay time. I had to react quick and purchase a flight with American to make it back in time for work. When I called spirit customer service I was told you missed your flight so no refund. After re-explaining my situation it fell on deaf ears. Reality of this is that I won't fly spirit unless it's my final chance to get somewhere that is an emergency. The seats are uncomfortable and not even water is complimentary. Cheap flight but all the add-On are not worth it"

Pros: "Nothing at all. They changed our gate back and forth several times."

Cons: "Wasn't clear that you have to pay $50 each way for your carry on. This made my $100 ticket 210 with the tax from the carry ons. Just didn't make sense to me thag i paid more to fly a bag than I paid to fly myself. No logic here and if it would have been clear before I purchased i wouldn't have booked with spirit airlines. You also have to pay for any beverage or food on the plane as well as pay for your seat on your plane. Essentially you buy a ticket to have the opportunity to buy a seat on a plane. Again no logic."

Pros: "I am scared of Flying. My son sent me a ticket to spend the First Christmas with his 10 Month old Twins! Although his gift was my Ticket, he still had to pay a substantial fee to check one bag. When I looked at my email from Spirit, I saw that I even had to pay for my Carry-on!! I tried to communicate that to my Son, but he was getting conflicting information from phone calls and Spirit online. Finally, after much angst, He had an agreement that my other Son who spent the days before Christmas with me, would take care of the Baggage fees at the airport when he drove me on his way back to New England, if needed. A substantial fee WAS then needed for the carry-on. Traveling on Christmas, and trying to save money on a flight was my goal when you are being given such a wonderful gift, but it was difficult for me to see the cost go up and op each step along the way, that increased what my sons had to pay on my behalf and the time and communications they had to go through (they are a Doctor and a Professor), in order to do something so nice for me! It is great that Spirit has low fees, but carry-on fees outside of the ticket price are particularly troubling and not being able to have water or my trusted Diet Coke on a flight from LA to MD on a Red Eye without paying for it is extreme! Your Pilots and staff along the way were GREAT and Helpful I have flown many, many times here and abroad, but I have never seen 4 sets of Pilots any better or more competent on take-offs and landings than your Pilots! They have been trained well. I have to go on another trip to OR in July for a special event. I live on a fixed income, and would fly Spirit again based on my experience."

Cons: "The obscure Tag Ons along the way. Your communication is not absolutely CLEAR to the person buying the INITIAL ticket from Spirit or another ticket servicer like Kayak. Costs for 1 Carry-on and Water and soda should be included in the ticket Cost."

Pros: "- The leather on top of the plastic seats - Small tray tables (I actually like the size)"

Cons: "- I get you're trying to make Spirit "FUN" and I'm a Millennial who works in advertising so I'm assuming this is part of your Brand but everything from cabin announcements to safety procedures to flight attendants asking for trash, attendants FORGETTING ON THE INTERCOM FORGETTING WHAT THEY WERE GOING TO SAY "I forgot what I was going to say, my brain isn't working today" - it bordered UNPROFESSIONIAL - and personally I felt it was trying too hard, flat jokes - it looks SLOPPY not "cool" - SERIOUSLY $36 for a carry-on each way?! MOST EXPENSIVE FLIGHT TO PORTLAND I'VE EVER SPENT IN THE PAST 10 YEARS. You tack these one AFTER we purchase the non-refundable flight. It's deceptive my friends/family and I all vowed to NEVER FLY SPIRIT AGAIN and we go up to the Pacific Northwest every year. - Plastic seats - the person behind had their knees were against my seat because the space is so small - he felt bad - I felt bad - and there was leftover trash in my seat"

Pros: "We could sit"

Cons: "One hour late, no explanation why. One member of staff very rude."

Pros: "There's nothing to like"

Cons: "Once I found out there is a fee of $42 dollars per checked bag with a limit of 40lbs, I tried to cancel my flight , but was told I would lose all my money. So I had no choice but to keep my reservation with this airline. They charge for everything from seats, to getting on the plane first and even carry ons. They don't even serve water during the flight. Planes are tiny and old. No space. On our flight back home we missed our connection due to a sick passenger. When we got to the gate the plane was just leaving. We were sent to customer service, and the only alternative given to us was a flight three days later. This was outrageous. I was traveling with my 71 year old mom and they expected us to spend three days sleeping at the airport. We refused to do so and bought tickets on delta. Other families with small children who had also lost their flights had no other choice but to stay and wait. This airline treats customers with no courtesy. Clerks are rude and in humane. They could care less if you lose your flight and have to spend days sleeping at the airport. They have literally no customer service. This airline should be shut down by the FAA."

Pros: "Very little."

Cons: "Usury charges for all services, including seat changes, carry-on prices, lack of complimentary snacks & drinks on board. Major complaint. Long delays (hours and hours). Both flights. One 6 hours delay. Another, 4 hours delay. No prior notification. Passengers were forced to spend down time at the airport gates or be charged for finding other flights on nearby airlines with more timely departure. Just for the record, I will never fly Spirit Airlines again. I didn't save money and I didn't enjoy 10 hours of wait time with not believable explanation. (Sent for another plane to fly the route -- same excuse on both flights) Additionally, check in was ridiculously slow. Two clerks to manage hundreds of angry people. The equipment problem that was used as the excuse to send for another plane was justified by the clerk who was checking me in answered my question with the following statement: "You wouldn't want to fly a plane that could fall out of the sky, right? There is no reason that person should be handling customers. That kind of 'in your face' response to an inquiry about a 4 hour delay is unacceptable. We should have been compensated in some way other than be told 'take it or leave it, at our expense. In this case, an 8:55 p.m scheduled departure delayed to 12:30 a.m. boarding time would have gotten us to our destination (LaGuardia to Ft. Lauderdale) at 3:30 a.m. Our pick up plans would have to be scuttled. That, Spirit Airlines is unprofessional and unacceptable. For me, in my first attempt to fly with you, ended any further booking on Spirit Air. With this kind of performance, you will fail. (P.S. I happen to fly a lot and am a million mile customer on American Airlines and a steady customer on Jet Blue. I'd like my survey review to be forwarded to somebody who will actually see it. A response would be appreciated. Barbara Pesin 631 - 766 - 4449"

Pros: "Boarding was alright, pretty quick and that's about it."

Cons: "Well let's start at the check in, so I got to an airport about 40 minutes before my boarding(usually what I do when I fly with Southwest), went on to check in my bag, once I got there the receptionist was extremely rude, as well as uneducated on the layout of the gates, as soon as my bag got checked in she threw it off the scale and told me to move on as soon as I asked her why she is being so aggressive with my baggage. Then when I was boarding there were no smiles by the crew, the seats were extremely uncomfortable, and I was waiting for a water for about 15 minutes asked a crew member again and she responded with "You are not the only passenger here, I will bring you your water once I'm done with other passengers" and for the 15 minutes I did not see her help a single customer. I am so disappointed in this flight that I am not flying with them back, instead I spent just a bit more and will fly out of Chicago with a different airline. Avoid spirit airlines at all costs!"

Pros: "I received a phone call from Spirit representative John who left a message stating that my departure flight time has changed and to call back. Upon vsll back I spoke with s female (did not get her name) who told me there will be s two hour delay, flight leaves Baltimore at 9:24 pm. Also told me to go back to website to print nee boarding pass and there will not be a 2 nd charge for the seat. When I logged back in around 6:40pm, (extended my workday so I didn't wait around at the terminal), there were no changes to the original departure time for the flight. So, I called Spirit again, spoke with Todd - I'D#41987 who said, no - flight 443 leaves at 7:42pm! Hence, I requested s refund and cancelled. There was no way that I could get to the airport in time for the flight. I didne request a Saturday morning flight because at that point, I lost total faith that there wouldn't be issues on the return flight from Florida. I will never, NEVER again make any travel plans that include Spirit. All they are interested in is signing people up for the credit car offering bonus fly poinft??? Duh!"

Cons: "See above..."

Pros: "On plane staff were nice and helpful."

Cons: "Spirit makes you pay for every single little thing and up charges you for the littlest thing as well. A cup of water on my flight was 3$. The low price of the ticket is pointless when you get charged three times more for booking, bags, checkin, carry on... WATER. I will fly delta next time and they will give me all that for FREE. The seats and plane itself were AWFUL. The seats were extremely uncomfortable and the tray table was smaller than my iPad mini. I am not sure when Spirit changed everything but they lost several customers from it. ,their low prices draw you in."

Pros: "At first the cost, but I learned the hard way u get less than what u pay for"

Cons: "They charged me for every single bag, no such thing as a carry on with them... I thought they were going to charge me for my purse. Then NO type of curiosity snack,u pay for everything, then Spirit had about 5 international flights all land at about the same time, customs in ft Lauderdale was a mess, myself and about 250 other people missed our connecting flights n had no curiosity hotel, restaurant vouchers nothing, we had to sleep outside on the floor cause the next flight was at 8am n I was not missing that flight... So like I said NEVER AGAIN!"

Pros: "I literally hated everything from boarding to picking up my baggage"

Cons: "The most uncomfortable seats, nothing on the plane is free (soft drinks, snacks, everything costed money). We waited 35 minutes for our bags to be put on the belt.. The plane was old and decrepit, no tvs or any sort of entertainment. Our flight on the way home was cancelled thank god I bought flight insurance because spirit airlines is BS. I'm surprised they're still in business. Oh and I had to pay for my effing seats AND my baggage, including checked AND carry on bags. I'm never giving this airline my business anymore and I suggest all of you do the same!!!!"

Cons: "This was the worst flight experience I have ever had. Spirit switched their flight to a smaller airplane at the last minute and left about a dozen passengers without a seat, left stranded on a flight they PAID FOR, checked in online for, and ARRIVED AT THE AIRPORT over 2 hours in advance for. They refused to communicate with us as we waited. They were completely understaffed and left a single employee to handle this. His ineptitude delayed the entire flight and stranded passengers remained stranded. Horrible, incompetent, disorganized, and completely Spirit's fault."

Pros: "nothing was impressive."

Cons: "Charging for every single thing they can possibly charge you for. The icing on that cake is that they even charge you for water in flight. Now, that is so horrible. Only taking credit cards too. There are many older people on these flights that do not even have credit cards.... so they may not have water? Cheap flight!!??? nope, add everything together and with flight attendants that don't want to be there and a captain that let us sit on the tarmac for a good 15 minutes before thinking he should tell us what's going on. That was my first and it is my last Spirit flight! And i am telling everyone that i know not to fly Spirit. Some people I have told have stories of their own and said they won't fly Spirit ever again too."

Pros: "The cheap fare"

Cons: "Not having curbside check-in. Printing a boarding pass to join the line to speak with an agent to check-in luggage or baggage drop. The price for one piece of checked luggage on Spiritair.com went from $26 a week before the trip,$42 the day before the trip, and then $56 the day of the trip. Not to mention feeling bad for the customers who did not use the kiosk to print their boarding to passes to either have pay the $10 fee at the counter for a boarding pass or go to the Kiosk print out a boarding pass for free then to turnaround and have to rejoin the check-in line all over again if they have to do a baggage drop."

Cons: "I checked in at the airport for my departure to find out that it is legal for spirit to over book their flights, and was told I didn't have a seat. I requested to speak with the manager, (Helen- 67672) after speaking with a young girl who was extremely rude and unprofessional, (Ashley- 66584), and to my surprise the supervisor was just as uninformed and rude as the gate attendant. The flight was delayed, it was a complete mess. On the returning flight. I was unable to check in online for my flight. After numerous attempts, I called the airline to find that you can only check in online or at the airport. I ended up sitting in the very last seat in the back of the plane. It's like the back seat of the plane doesn't exist, no one asked to purchase beverages/snacks, which isn't as bad as forgetting to ask to take away garbage. Such a huge disappointment. I hate flying spirit, as do the majority of passengers I spoke with, but they are the only airline that flies from South Florida to Atlantic City. Whoever the airline is that starts to compete with spirit for that route will most definitely do well!"

Pros: "One lady was the only help in Fort Lauderdale out of every single part of our round trip."

Cons: "Showed up almost an hour early to Cleveland airport to fly to another state. The lady tried telling us we missed our trip because she made us go to the kiosk to only get denied by the kiosk and having to go back to her for her to deny us until we flipped out making her realize it's her fault. Charged us extra for carry on baggage because the checked baggage "wouldn't make it." Writing that in a note that we were late...even though it was her fault we were. Our tickets were 218 dollars each we ended up paying 200 dollars for our baggage because you have to pay for both trips which is another round trip ticket to Florida because the lady never told us in Cleveland that we had to buy both ways. Everything on the plane to order was a cost not even water was complimentary. On the way back we got to the airport two hours early to find no one at the counter to help us at the gate...she showed up only about 30 minutes before we boarded, real professional...but we cut our vacation by an hour and a half because we "have to come 90 minutes ahead" to find none of the spirit crew members to be even present. Everything was inconvenient with this airline and not pleasant. Only positive was a lady in Fort Lauderdale that helped us figure out our luggage and did what she could to save us a bit of money. We will never take this airline again."

Cons: "Kept delaying the flight from Atlantic city to fort laudetdale and then it was cancelled. Had to rebook a flight to Orlando , which left 6 hours later than our original time. Was traveling with my friend and her 10 week old baby. When we got to Orlando they couldn't find the car seat. Staff was very rude and told us it wasn't on the plane and take a 5 minute walk to baggage. Had to take a shuttle to baggage and of course it wasn't on carousel. After 2 hours of waiting and basically fighting for our rights we got the car seat and were able to leave. We got a @ sorry" e mail from spirit along with a $100 voucher. Sorry Spirit but you can keep your voucher because we will NEVER fly you again. They had no empathy at all for the mothers with new babies. Worst flying experience ever!!!"

Pros: "Arriving safely at my destination"

Cons: "No literature, no amenities, crowded seats that don't recline, getting nickel and dimed by attendants like carnival barkers for water, sitting next to dehydrated and furious people that just had to pay $55 to bring a carry-on which offset any savings they thought they were getting by flying Spirit, and a patronizing ad campaign that tries to get you excited to be miserable. "[Amenities] just weigh us down." It said something like that on the print out. I feel like not distributing water as a safety precaution in a pressurized atmosphere for a 5.5 hour flight is just begging for a catastrophe because a passenger couldn't whip out his MasterCard quick enough to stay hydrated."

Pros: "Nothing."

Cons: "Rude agents at check-in. No terminal announcements despite flight being one hour late and a gate change. Boarding by zone was totally ignored - almost a free-for-all. Boarding even more disorganized by using contract personnel at SXM. No apologies by agents or crew that flight was late. Has to be the smallest seat pitch in the industry and do not recline. Expect your seat back to get kicked or kneed for the entire four hours - mine sure was. No Wi-Fi or any form of in-flight entertainment. The longest four hour flight of my life. Everything (I mean everything is extra $$$). Reserved seats, carry-on bags, 40 lb. weight limit on checked bags ($25 if between 41-50 lbs.) Water $3.00. Coke $3.00. If you want anything to eat or drink you pay extra. No ice on flight (They don't refresh the plane or have cleaning service from international locations). No updates or flight information upon arrival. Either staff has had no training for customer service or they just don't care. Probably a combination of both. This airline makes Delta and other "full fare" airlines look like first class even in coach. Over two hours to get bags, clear customs and recheck bags (Transfer) in FLL. Again no customer service even though FLL is their main hub. My first time flying on Spirit and I guarantee that was the last. Stay away from this hack airline."

Cons: "It's sad you only want my review from my return flight. If I had a choice not to fly back on Spirit I wouldn't have. The first flight seats were horrible. The passenger in front of me reclined and the seats rested on my knees and hurt the entire flight. Paying for carry on was absolutely ridiculous. Having to pay for a glass or cup of water, not bottle, was beyond horrific. Flight attendants were not friendly. This experience is so far the worst flight experience I've ever had. It was my first on Spirit and I pray I don't have to give you my money ever again."

Pros: "Earlier in the day I was having trouble checking in and tried to call Spirit for help. It took me a long time just to figure out how to get to a person to speak with and got the message that I might be charged to speak with someone. I hung up. I can't recall having to pay to speak to an employee at any other business. The flight was delayed. 4 hours. They told us it was because of a thunder storm, but later admitted it was a problem with a flight attendants seat. When I got a chance to order a drink I was told they no longer carry scotch. Your tickets may be cheaper, but the experience is not worth it."

Pros: "Not much"

Cons: "It's one thing If a flight is late due to weather. But the fact that we were supposed to leave at 7:30pm and didn't end up leaving till 10:30pm because a crew member didn't show up at a previous stop is unacceptable. If I was late to my flight the plane would leave without me so everyone else could be on time. So why don't The same rules apply to The crew? The three hour delay ruined basically our whole trip. We got set back an entire day and instead of getting in at a decent time and being able to drive. Also, Spirit charges and over charges for everything under the sun. So you "cheap flight" cost me more then other airlines. Completely disapointed and after my flight home Sunday we're never flying spirit again."

Cons: "an hour after our supposed boarding time, we were told that the plane needed to reboot but I would still make my connection flight in Ft Lauderdale. After another 2 hours I was then told that I can board the flight which was now leaving at 3 am opposed to the scheduled 9:30 pm flight, but they did not have another connection flight until the next evening at 9:30. Eventually, I had to cancel my flight and was refunded my money. I spent another 2 hours trying to get my luggage off the plane and the both women, one ticket agent and another Spirit employee were attempting to help me, when i went back to the desk they were gone and didn't return. I had to contact the Tampa Airport so that they could find a Spirit Airline employee to get my luggage. I finally received my luggage at 3:30 am. I had to stay in the airport because my next flight through another carrier was leaving at 730 am. I will NEVER even think about booking another flight with Spirit!! Their customer service was horrible and inconsiderate of any of the patrons who were traveling on that flight. Unfortunately my trip was not for pleasure but due to a loss in the family and they didn't seem to have a care in the world about anyone's cancelled flight. Amongst the few hours that I sat there, every other person that was on the same flight continually complained that this is not their first time traveling with Spirit and there always seemed to be an issue, either flights departing late and being cancelled completely"

Cons: "The crew is very unfriendly. The cost of the ticket was cheap, however the flight was delayed ntil 2:50 AM when we were supposed to take off at 12:00 AM. I arrived at the airport with some of the spirit staff sitting down and letting me know that the flight may be cancelled altogether since it was delayed. The woman at the desk in the MSP airport told me that if "ya'll don't sit in your seats fast, the plane will be cancelled." This was after arriving at the airport around 3AM since my flight was delayed. I get it, the tickets are cheap.... but should the experience and hospitality be so cheap as well?"

Pros: "The initial fare was great and enticing."

Cons: "I didn't like the fact that bag fees are twice as much as other airlines, carry ons are $100 per, what is normally free on other airliines (like coffee, soda or water) you charge for, and the weight limit for a checked bag is 40 pounds not 50 and then there is an additional $25 dollar charge. So, I paid $75 dollars total for checking my 1 bag, which was under 50 pounds and I was traveling for two weeks, so I expected to pay a fee of $25 to check the bag. Luckily my 1 carry on was small enough to be considered a personal bag, or that would have been another $100. I chose not to drink anything because asking to pay for water is somewhat ridiculous and I found the flight attendants "humor" to not be funny at all. I guess if as an airline you want to be made a joke of than that is fine, but if you are tying to be a low price contender and offer the same service and amenities than you have missed the mark in my opinion."
