Did Gypsy Rose have a baby with Nick

Gypsy Rose Blanchard and Nicholas Godejohn apparently discussed having a baby before they talked about Plan B — and not the emergency contraceptive. Blanchard and Godejohn were talking about murder.

The couple, who met on a Christian dating site, plotted via text how they would kill Gypsy’s mother, Clauddine “Dee Dee” Blanchard. More specifically, Gypsy asked Godejohn to kill her mom for her, because she wanted to be free of Dee Dee’s abuse. For years, Dee Dee pretended that had everything from leukemia to muscular dystrophy to developmental issues, forcing her daughter to endure multiple unnecessary surgeries and medical treatments —  her behavior was later diagnosed as Munchausen by proxy.

Gypsy Rose actually asked Godejohn’s “evil side” to kill her mother. The couple had come up with a number of alter egos they talked to each other under. Victor, a 500-year-old vampire, was probably the darkest one.

“I said, 'Victor, will you please come kill my mother for me, because I can’t do it myself,'” Gypsy told Dr. Phil in a 2017 prison interview, explaining the request that she sent to Godejohn online, after a fight with her mother over her feeding tube.

Godejohn did just that in 2015, stabbing Dee Dee Blanchard to death, after years of long-distance dating with Gypsy Rose. Godejohn was sentenced in February 2019 to life in prison, after being convicted of first-degree murder. Gypsy Rose, meanwhile, was sentenced in 2016 to 10 years in prison, after pleading guilty to second-degree murder for her role in the attack.

The couple originally had a Plan A aimed at Gypsy escaping from her mother and getting together with him. Part of that plan was to have a baby.

Court documents obtained by Oxygen.com state that Gypsy’s neighbor and confidant, Aleah Woodmansee, told them “Gypsy had posted on a secret Facebook profile, stating she was dating a man and she wanted to name their son Nicholas Paul Godejohn.”

Godejohn said on the upcoming "Killer Couples: Gypsy Rose & Nick: A Love to Kill For" airing on Oxygen Saturday, July 13 at 7/6c that he Gypsy discussing running away together, and “were trying, maybe, to get her pregnant, so, this way, her mom would be forced to let me in her life.”

That didn’t happen.

“Well, we really didn't get a chance to go to that route, just because the limited time we had,” Godejohn said, “There's no way it would've been possible.”

Greene County Sheriff Jim Arnott said on “Killer Couples” that Dee Dee ruined not only their desire to have a baby but of being together at all.

“They wanted to have a baby,” he said. “They wanted to get married. They wanted to be together forever. And the roadblock, in that relationship was Dee Dee.”

I wasn’t just Godejohn that Dee Dee didn’t like. However, she did find him creepy — he first showed up as an adult man to a Missouri movie screening of a Cinderella film, after taking a bus from Wisconsin, in an effort to impress Gypsy’s mom. She wasn’t impressed. She didn’t want her daughter dating anyone. Dee Dee “did not approve of Gypsy being romantically involved with anyone,” according to court documents obtained by Oxygen.com.

When the producers of “Killer Couples” asked Godejohn what his and Gypsy’s long-term plans were, he said that he hoped to later get a job at the bottle manufacturing plant, where his father worked.

“And, after that, after little ways down the road, I’d probably end  up marrying her,” he continued. “End up having children with her. And then, at some point, I’d end up saving  enough to actually have an actual house-house with her. Yeah. Originally what we were planning on doing.”

That plan obviously never came to fruition, after the pair was arrested.

Now, Gypsy Rose and Godejohn aren’t even together anymore. She became engaged to a pen pal while behind bars in April. When he heard word of the proposal, Godejohn reportedly proposed to Gypsy himself, and gave her an ultimatum of sorts.

“Gypsy says that Godejohn said he wanted to be the one to marry her and would give her one month to choose between him and Ken,” Dr. Phil McGraw said on his true crime podcast "Analysis of Murder."

In the end, she decided to stick with the new guy and leave Godejohn, and their shared, deadly past behind.

Did Nick and Gypsy get married?

Lake Charles, LA (KPLC) - Gypsy Rose Blanchard, who in 2015 organized a plan with then boyfriend Nicholas Godejohn to kill her mother, is now married to a man from Lake Charles. She tied the knot in Missouri with Ryan Scott Anderson on June 27.

What did Nick do to Gypsy?

According to Godejohn, he and Gypsy Rose had sex in Gypsy's bedroom after the crime. Godejohn had asked Gypsy to clean up the blood from a wound on his finger while naked — a sexual fantasy of his — that resulted in the two having sex just minutes after her mother was brutally murdered.

Where are Gypsy Rose and Nick now?

Nick was sentenced to life in prison in February 2019 for first degree murder, even with Gypsy serving as the main witness for the defense, taking blame for planning Dee Dee's violent death. Prior to his sentencing, Gypsy was sentenced to 10 years behind bars after pleading guilty to second-degree murder.

Why did Gypsy Rose talk like a baby?

Speech experts have weighed in on why her voice was so high pitched, with some reasoning that she was doing it almost unconsciously in response to being infantilized by her mother, Dee Dee, who had convinced her that she was years younger than she was.
