Actor Michael J. Fox has not died. The Back To The Future star is alive and well in 2022 but did become the victim of an internet death hoax recently.

Social media has become one of the main sources of news for several people. With this in mind, it is common for fake stories to take the front seat.

Something similar happened on July 26 when several people were convinced that actor Michael was dead.

Michael J. Fox did not die

The rumors about Michael’s death started surfacing online after another person with the same name passed away. Given the names were the same, several people thought that the tributes were for the actor.

In reality, the actor is alive and well. However, since the social media rumors started spreading like wild fire, it caused chaos among fans on the internet.

What has the actor been up to?

Michael has been enjoying his time with his family and even posted a picture with his wife on Instagram recently. He captioned the photo as: “34 More Please!…I love you forever and Always.”

Even though Michael has 1.3 million followers on Instagram, he only makes a post when he is celebrating an occasion. Prior to this, he posted a message for his wife on her birthday.

It looks like the actor wants to keep his personal life away from social media and we definitely understand that. Other than that, the actor has also been promoting his Foundation for Parkinson’s research.
